Nigel Adkins leaves Tranmere

Featured Replies

Another inevitable sacking. Worse possible time in a season for a new Head Coach/ Manager to take over.

Who ever it will be is on a hiding to nothing. Just thirteen matches to turn their season around. And it's very tight between the bottom three.

I personally think that it is a wrong move by Tranmere & they may rue their decision at the end of the season.

Yeah, it’s a tough one I can see both sides to the argument but I get that losing to Accrington is extremely deflating, it’s a massive loss. If you can’t beat an equally poor team, at home, where is your next 3 points coming from?

They’ve been averaging a win a month, but it’ll be zero for this month and that recent loss also extended their winless run to 10 games. Knowing all that I can’t exactly say I’d have any faith in Nigel Adkins to keep them up, you’d basically be reliant on Morecambe and Carlisle to keep losing.
