they are one of the teams who continue to compete back and fourth with being in the premier league, i wonder how much their financial issues are as a result to this.

Unfortunately this is becoming a sad trend in our national game. As I've said many times before, there should be a cap on transfers & wages at different levels depending  on which division it is.

Finance just seems to be spiraling out of control which is not good for our game.

Failing all that. I think that the Notts County finance model is a good example for other clubs to follow.
