Scotland 4 Denmark 2

Featured Replies

Did anyone watch this match, it was crazy. Scotland need a win to qualify for the World Cup.

Scotland went 1-0 up early on with a great bicycle kick goal from McTominay, Denmark equalised with a pen in the second half, a dubious decision after a foul which was deemed to be just inside the box, after a lengthy wait for var.

Denmark had a player sent off for a second yellow and Scotland went 2-1 up, 4 minutes later on 82 mins Denmark equalised again. In 90+3 minutes Scotland went ahead 3-2, then on 90+8 mins with Denmark chasing an equaliser and Kasper Schmeichel out of his goal, McLean scored from 35 yards. To put Scotland through to the World Cup finals.

What a match.

I'm pleased that Scotland won the match & have qualified for the WC. I didn't see the match but I did see their match against Greece a few days ago when Scotland lost 2:3. That was a very entertaining match too.

Scotland last qualified in 1998 so I'm sure there will be lots of celebrations throughout the Scottish nation.
