ban on drinking in stands...

I don't think they should ban drinking in the stands, but as others have said... keep it to a ban in the family areas if that ever happened. Banning would spoil it for the well behaved drinking fans.

In one football game, I was standing and drinking a pint. When I realised what I was doing, I quickly started a massive brawl as to fit in with the stereotype.

Didn't want people thinking this was acceptable behavior at a footy game.

I just think if fights break out over something being spilt on them, which seems to be a one off. I just would be mindful of becoming more than just that, try it in the Pavis. Last thing we need is to hire more stewards, no point in making their job more challenging.

How do you feel @4everapie?

Don't sell beer at all, but that would spoil it for the sensible people who like to pay extortionate prices for their beer.

As someone who enjoys a beer before, during and after the game I'm happy with how it is. The minority 'would' spoil it for the rest.

I'll stick to my hip flask, feel free to ask for a sip if you're at the back of the Kop :-)

Regards Allen. You Pies!
