Today marks exactly 10 years since the Belgian left back signed for Borussia. A great club servant, who has been captain of the club for longer than anyone else, even Berti Vogts. Agreed to be the penalty taker until he missed one, which he did last year after 17 goals in a row. Not many 'foreign' players are such good servants in this day and age.

Not players full stop, plus clubs often off load them when they can sign someone considered 'better'.

Filip Daems sounds like a great player.
