and to we think we've fallen away this season.....

this weekend sees free scoring and free falling posh roll into town.  the team that bought big from non-league and then sold on for huge profits, (cms, macclean, boyd, gayle etc) once again have the former two back in their ranks.

hopefully their patchy form will continue past this weekend and they leave meadow lane empty handed for what would be the first time in a while.  ferguson then surely to be under threat from the admirable but impatient mcanthony.

links?  quite a few spring to mind, but gary martindale, sean farell and andy legg are my starters...

fair play, but i'm going to keep going in sets of 3 mate, sure there's loads to go round ;-)

adam newton, jeff hughes, and dave robinson - £425k to replace craig short, reat debut, sadly injured.  year out, injured 2/3 games back into comeback and subsequently retired.  fine player, oh what might've been...

loads more...

Dave Robinson - terrific centre half but dodgy knees, sadly.

Denis Oakes - Sirrel era.

I honestly couldn't think of any earlier but a lot of these names with time I might have mentioned.

Absolutely shocking, I will hang my head in shame!

matty gill, davie regis - and then a curious one, jimmy walker, who signed for both clubs at either end of his career but never played a league game for either.
