@weymouthPIE, wasn't it Sheehan who started his negotiations in public immediately after the Oldham game? Can't remember JCR going public on anything, might be wrong though.

I'm glad we've brought some genuine talent in in JCR and McCourt, even though they're erratic. I've gained the impression that we have been predictable and one-paced all season. It'll be interesting to see how SD sets the team up now, and which role Thompson will take - lone striker? Or will we finally play him and Bajner together up front?

I hope we follow this up with a quality centre half. We're currently playing an old man and our fitness coach in that position, with the only alternative being Hollis, who has never struck me as being anything more than your typical "hoof it" non-league defender. McKenzie seems to have boarded that flight to Mars.

When he can be bothered he's a quality player at this level. Let's see tomorrow.

Interesting signing - I'm not as optimistic as many others. He was hit & miss before and he was his ineffective, wasteful, self at their place earlier this season, despite tearing Cranston apart at times.

However, at his best he is miles better than the tripe we've had to endure like Hayhurst, McLaughlin, Whitehouse & Santos!

Welcome back JCR, let's see some razzle dazzle.
