Not seen Gibson play so I cant comment. From what you say he seems to be a player we could do with at ML.      550

Well he scored a lot last year for the reserves and youth team and when he came on he tried to make runs in behind the defence and was playing on the shoulder of the last defender, he might come to nothing but he looked half decent to me, and defiantly worth persisting with

I can't see where anybody has suggested we get 4 young strikers, we don't need 4. I was alluding to the fact that we could probably strengthen the squad with 4 younger players in different positions for the same amount of money that they are on. Other teams have found strikers on free transfers that can score goals, so why can't we? Matty Taylor, John Akinde and Billy Kee are all younger and scored goals last season and I wouldn't expect them to be on the same wages as McLeod and Stead, with maybe the exception of Taylor, but he joined them when they were in non league.

Omar bogle and James norwood are two very capable non-league strikers although I'd expect Grimsby to want to keep bogle now they are up, there has been talk of Reuben Reid, he was good against us but ive heard he's just another Izale
