Cheaper matchday tickets - if you buy in advance

Statement from the club!

The main news is that ticket prices fall by two quid if you buy them before matchday. Which is nice. Personally I think football is too expensive in general, but 20 quid is a step in the right direction. The statement doesn't say whether it only applies to tickets bought at the ground though...

Bloody ridiculous, paying £2 more for not getting tickets in advance... We have never really had that much of a problem with matchday queuing anyway! So folk who might live further away from the ground have to pay more for not taking time out and visiting the ground to buy a ticket or using online tickets...

Not really, based on last season you pay £2 less if you do buy in advance.  A very positive move from the club, I didn't expect a reduction in matchday prices.  Those living further away just need to book online, and either collect their ticket on the day or print it themselves at home.  I didn't realise the home print option was available, but I've just used it for the Mike Edwards testimonial game.

What right do you have to tell me I'm wrong?  You're not my Granddaughter.
