I'd suggest making a trip to the Embankment pub, I'll put you in contact with @Andy Black - he's got a great relationship with Italian Magpies and he's certainly someone I know who would be interested no doubt in meeting you. The stables is also most likely going to have some characters who'd be up for saying hello, so your more than welcome to join me and my group for one also and I'll introduce you to people.

Also, just a short walk across from the Embankment pub there's the Navi and official clubs sports bar 'The Broken Wheelbarrow'.
