I was excited when I heard on NCM that Birch was waiting in the wings to be signed, however I don't think it was as much of "shorts" first signing as he was "lined" up before he was on the scene but it's his first signing none the less.

Haven't seen him play but I recall his early days in the u21 national side and with Tottenham. Highly rated!
