When we think about exceptional circumstances and football seasons being cancelled, most of us automatically think of the Second World War. The other day I stumbled across this article and it occurred to me that there is loads I don't know about that time. Did you know that Bath City won the northern half of the League, only to be denied a Football League place after the war?

Good reading this. I wonder if we'll be seeing temporary regional leagues again?
