  1. I'm the same, I'm very reluctant to buy DVDs. If I can get it on like Amazon, Netflix or Disney Plus then I won't get it on DVD. I will only get a DVDs if they're something I can't get on a streaming service. I'll get DVDs if they go with a collection I've already had from previous years like Fast and Furious for example, I enjoy them and found them in a charity shop where they're 50p each or 10 DVDs for a quid so couldn't pass it up. But also, streaming services don't always put all the films avaliable for free. Final Destination for example we managed to watch 2 and 3 on Amazon 4 on another platform but 1 couldn't get anywhere so we decided to get the DVD. DVDs come in handy when I'm ill as I'll be in bed and it gives me something to watch while I'm upstairs. Last time I was ill I binged watched Monty Python the holy grail and life of Brian aswell as giving a few other DVDs a go. Same as TV though, we very rarely watch live TV. We usually watch everything on demand. The only time we watch live TV really is when football is on or stuff like I'm a celeb, bgt etc are on. We do something similar, we watch specific films at certain times of the year but it's usually via streaming services.
  2. @TheSkipper Absolutely, Gerrard was the driving force to Liverpools success that night. The Boreham Wood game is a great shout!
  3. Really hope they survive. Far too often it happens where an owner fails a club only for the club to be punished. More needs to be done to prevent this happening.
  4. In your opinion, what is the greatest comeback EVER? For me it has to be Liverpool v AC Milan 2005 in the Champions League Final. Football is an unpredictable game and this games shows exactly that. Liverpool had no right in coming back from 3-0 down against an absolutely star studded Milan team. This is what makes the comeback that bit better, it wasn't even the fact that Liverpool were trailing 3-0 at half time in the UCL final, it's more how they did it and against a team oozing with quality.
  5. @liampie followed you back mate It's early days yet but threads hasn't really impressed me too much. It's lacking something but as I say it's only early days.
  6. @Joshua This one's quite good of Warnock
  7. Martin O'Neill
  8. Times like this I wish I still lived in Nottingham. Would be good to go down meet with the players and get a picture with the trophy. I'm sure the kids woulda loved it as well.
  9. @TheSkipper I thought the same like someone breaking through either going on to further themselves or ending up falling off not to avoid paying the dad for decorating
  10. I came across this video that's currently doing the rounds on social media and it just about sums up what a character Neil Warnock is. He's the gift that keeps giving Also, check Warnock out on Kammy and Ben's proper football podcast. Could listen to him for hours. Anyone got any other great Warnock moments? There's surely plenty out there
  11. Agree with what LW was saying. It gives the players something to think about and motivate them to prepare for tougher challenges that lay ahead for the upcoming season back in the EFL. Of course losing like that is gonna be frustrating but it's pre season and as @Fan of Big Tone mentioned it gives the manager time to assess players to get them ready for the season.
  12. The few games I managed to make last season, the programmes were fantastic.
  13. @Blake Yeah twitter has a few clowns on there tbf. It's only really good to keep tabs on interests and on occasions have good interactions about reactions to events going on.
  14. Had a feeling this would happen. Elon thought he could change so many things to twitter and get away with it because it's a platform that had no alternative but now all of a sudden meta come with threads, people start defecting and he's now realised he needs to act someway to get what he wants.
  15. Really like the away kit. It looks fantastic. Blues my favourite colour so it's gonna be very tempting to buy. I agree with this it should be the other way round I feel. But it's a nice kit nonetheless. Exactly my thoughts when I first saw it. Said that to my mate when we was talking about it.
  16. @AmericanPie I won't be deactivating twitter right away due to the fact that there are many accounts I like to check out every now and again that aren't on either insta or threads. Maybe when all the accounts I have interest in move over and the app works well than it might be a to do.
  17. @Chris understandable. New app, new way of doing things ay. Fresh start and all that. Followed both PON and yourself
  18. So how many on here has joined Threads? It's gained a mass following already, which was expected. It's definitely a work in progress but I think it's gonna succeed.
  19. @NottsTastic Absolutely being himself was what won people over and I agree he's missed in the game. I only remember him from his Villa days due to FIFA 03, used to always be top scorer for them on the game. He often references his dad on his podcast and also in the documentary pushing him because he knew that he'd be there one day. As you say some people just need that push even if it's a hard journey. As @liampie said, he earned his respect.
  20. The first name that popped into my mind was Jermaine Pennant.
  21. Brave man to be sacking Big Dunc this early on into his contract If anyone was gonna appoint a female into the Men's game, FGR would have definitely been at the top of everyone's list. They're that sort of club to be "unique" @Fan of Big Tone I'm surprised they haven't tried poaching LW, they certainly have a habit of trying to do that
  22. @Chris Aberdeen's a different one to keep an eye out for. Quite interested to know how that came about? I'd like to see Juventus to do well, due to the Notts link, but in recent years I've not really cared much if I'm honest especially given all the off field antics that go on with them
  23. @super_ram @Fan of Big Tone couldn't resist
  24. Fantastic gesture. Class!
  25. @super_ram have you defected to the red side of the trent with "COYR" ?
