  1. Encouraging indeed to see the boys already shining bright in the pre-season. It really bodes well for the regular season.
  2. I wasn’t able to go either, but it’s good to hear who played well and to hear about the youth players that featured. The result doesn’t matter, I know people are pleased with the 3-0 win. The main thing is the chemistry the players pick up ahead of the new season.
  3. Both halves of the squad performed well. Luke William was spot-on with his post-match thoughts. Nuneaton played well, though their challenges were somewhat aggressive. It was nice to see that we weren’t afraid to give as good as we got!
  4. Having flexibility and creativity to change games and adapt to different situations is a crucial aspect of any successful football team. It's great to see that Luke Williams recognises this and is building his squad accordingly. I'm really excited for the upcoming season!
  5. Nemane's influence on the team speaks volumes! Can’t wait to see him continue to shine in the next two years.
  6. Reading Nigel's story, I can't help but be proud of also being a Notts County fan. Best of luck to you, Nigel, and may our club continue to have dedicated supporters like you!
  7. With our busy schedules, it’s easy for old members to lose their way. However, they are the perfect people to invite back. One of the best things about PON is the ability to discuss matters without anyone acting superior to others.
  8. I voted for Jodi Jones; we saw what he could do while on loan and to have him for a full season is encouraging. I believe we can do far more on the pitch. As others have said, I like all the signings. Will Randall seems like a great promising player who shone for Sutton; I would put him in the squad on the opening day.
  9. I think Crowley's decision to join Notts County because of their style of play is a good sign. It shows that the club is committed to playing attractive and attacking football, which is always exciting to watch.
  10. It's always exciting to see young talents like Aidan Stone making their mark in the football world. His achievements at such a young age are impressive, and I can't wait to see what he can do for Notts County.
  11. The Reedtz brothers have been fantastic for Notts County, the fact that no major disasters have occurred under their reign speaks volumes about their leadership and vision for the club.
  12. Crowley's career so far has been fascinating, from starting at Aston Villa and moving to Arsenal at just 15 years old. Looking forward to seeing him in action for Notts.
  13. Everything I have read and heard suggests that we have made a good signing. I have seen some of his goals on the Football League highlight show in the past. He looks like a much better player than the League Two standard. I hope he shows us what he’s capable of.
  14. He’s a signing that I feel is a dream to be announced by Notts. He’s excellent and in League Two he will be like Johnnie Jackson. Way too good for League Two. It seems we are building a side that could be as good as the last time we won the League Two title. To be in another title race would be very positive.
  15. Cal Roberts to Scunthorpe? It seems like the stuff of nightmares. I feel sorry for him because he should be playing higher and this move will delay it and possibly make it harder.
  16. I can’t imagine how it must have felt to finally achieve victory at Wembley after so many setbacks.
  17. Opinions vary, but I would question anyone who would have preferred to see Jim O’Brien retire. In fact, I would hope they were brave enough to express their opinion in writing but otherwise without valid reasoning. I simply wouldn’t believe it. Jim O’Brien has been outstanding for Notts, he had several key moments last season and not to mention his Maidstone hat-trick.
  18. I found it interesting how Ruben matured as a player while at Notts. I think Jim’s comment was classy. I bet Ruben appreciates it, but Jim said so many good things about other players too. He focuses on the right things rather than himself or criticism.
  19. David McGoldrick will have hopefully saved up. He’s had a good career and more players like him should try to help their boyhood clubs if they are still good enough. If not, a nearby non-league team just for the fun of playing.
  20. I like what Jim expressed in his interview. He’s a calm head but has a fiery passion that makes you warm to him. His rage at times when he makes runs but doesn’t get spotted can be quite funny. If Notts stuck a camera on him for a whole game, fans would see what I mean.
  21. It’s not the biggest step up, but fair play to him. He wanted a change and I don’t blame him. He helped massively to get Notts up into League Two and for that, I respect his decision to move. Despite it being sad to see him leave!
  22. I wish Ruben all the best. I think after his night out with the lads, it seemed like a final goodbye because he just went for it. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s still not hungover. ????
  23. Welcome home, David McGoldrick. We are thrilled to have you back and will give you our full support. We know that you will give it your all and put in every effort you can. We are happy with the signing and your comments have been great.
  24. Best of luck to Notts County’s Tiernan Brooks as he represents Ireland U21 in Austria!
  25. I don't have many memories of him as a footballer. What I do remember is him taking photos in the club shop and his big, fuzzy hair. It's surprising to learn that he played so many games for Notts. I wish him all the best.
