  1. Encouraging indeed to see the boys already shining bright in the pre-season. It really bodes well for the regular season.
  2. To embark on a new chapter in one's career is always an exciting prospect, rife with challenges and opportunities. Michael Doyle's move to Portsmouth offers precisely this. Doyle has always been a dynamic force on the field, demonstrating leadership, determination, and undeniable skill.
  3. The term 'celebrity' has indeed taken on a broader connotation now. With platforms like TikTok and YouTube, anyone with a unique skill, lucky break, or an entertaining persona can gain instant stardom. It makes me wonder if we, as consumers of content, are redefining what it means to be a celebrity today. Irrespective of our personal feelings about them, celebrities, by virtue of their massive social reach, undeniably influence our lives, ideas, and consumption patterns.
  4. This uncertainty is intrinsic to football, isn't it? 'Will he? Won't he?' No matter where Dallas ends up, I hope he manages to tap into his full potential.
  5. A massive accolade to everyone involved in this achievement. This sense of camaraderie and collective support will surely bolster Notts County's spirit in the upcoming matches.
  6. I wasn’t able to go either, but it’s good to hear who played well and to hear about the youth players that featured. The result doesn’t matter, I know people are pleased with the 3-0 win. The main thing is the chemistry the players pick up ahead of the new season.
  7. Both halves of the squad performed well. Luke William was spot-on with his post-match thoughts. Nuneaton played well, though their challenges were somewhat aggressive. It was nice to see that we weren’t afraid to give as good as we got!
  8. I like Instagram. I think Meta understands its users better, and I don’t really buy into all this data selling and other nonsense, as it’s the same with Google. I think Threads will be a much better place, so I’m interested to see how it does.
  9. Frank Vincent was a great player on his day. I really wish him all the best, as I think he deserves to play more than what we could offer him.
  10. I think all four teams have a good chance of promotion. With three automatic promotion spots in League Two, it does make promotion easier. I’m hopeful that Notts can secure one of those positions, as the playoffs would be a big gamble.
  11. Well done to Stoke City. I hope that Notts considers doing something similar. Does anyone know if there will be a collection from the fans on the day?
  12. Having flexibility and creativity to change games and adapt to different situations is a crucial aspect of any successful football team. It's great to see that Luke Williams recognises this and is building his squad accordingly. I'm really excited for the upcoming season!
  13. Nemane's influence on the team speaks volumes! Can’t wait to see him continue to shine in the next two years.
  14. Reading Nigel's story, I can't help but be proud of also being a Notts County fan. Best of luck to you, Nigel, and may our club continue to have dedicated supporters like you!
  15. With our busy schedules, it’s easy for old members to lose their way. However, they are the perfect people to invite back. One of the best things about PON is the ability to discuss matters without anyone acting superior to others.
  16. I voted for Jodi Jones; we saw what he could do while on loan and to have him for a full season is encouraging. I believe we can do far more on the pitch. As others have said, I like all the signings. Will Randall seems like a great promising player who shone for Sutton; I would put him in the squad on the opening day.
  17. The best post in the whole discussion goes to @Chris. I hadn’t thought about this and would have said he had been forgotten, but after seeing such a detailed and interesting comment, it’s hard not to agree with it. Luke Williams will know what he has at his disposal; he will know where they fit in and I’m sure he will get the best out of JR Morias.
  18. I think Crowley's decision to join Notts County because of their style of play is a good sign. It shows that the club is committed to playing attractive and attacking football, which is always exciting to watch.
  19. It's always exciting to see young talents like Aidan Stone making their mark in the football world. His achievements at such a young age are impressive, and I can't wait to see what he can do for Notts County.
  20. The Reedtz brothers have been fantastic for Notts County, the fact that no major disasters have occurred under their reign speaks volumes about their leadership and vision for the club.
  21. Regarding Darren Moore and Gary O’Neil, it’s always difficult when managers lose their jobs. I hope they both find new opportunities that suit them well.
  22. It’s also nice to hear about James Maddison’s kind gesture towards Jodi Jones. I hope Malta can improve as a nation in the future.
  23. Crowley's career so far has been fascinating, from starting at Aston Villa and moving to Arsenal at just 15 years old. Looking forward to seeing him in action for Notts.
  24. Everything I have read and heard suggests that we have made a good signing. I have seen some of his goals on the Football League highlight show in the past. He looks like a much better player than the League Two standard. I hope he shows us what he’s capable of.
  25. He’s a signing that I feel is a dream to be announced by Notts. He’s excellent and in League Two he will be like Johnnie Jackson. Way too good for League Two. It seems we are building a side that could be as good as the last time we won the League Two title. To be in another title race would be very positive.
