  1. What a match! Every minute was gripping with high anticipation, especially with Deeney's hat-trick. But glad to see Notts County's sheer determination and success. Brilliant performances on-field indeed.
  2. Jodi Jones is a promising and inspiring player. His skill in smoothly moving between club and international football, along with adapting to different positions and systems, is impressive. He openly discusses the obstacles he faces, showing his dedication to understanding the sport’s complexities at both national and international levels. His hearty commendation for the Notts County coaching staff and Meadow Lane fans shows a footballer who recognises and values everyone’s contribution to his career. Jodi Jones isn’t just a talented footballer—he’s also someone with a strong understanding of football dynamics and a solid team spirit.
  3. The team has certainly raised the standard when it comes to preparation and consistent fitness. Crowley’s performance is a clear reflection of the team’s diligent efforts.
  4. The focus on consistency and deep tactical understanding is truly refreshing. The effort on the pitch is evident - keep pushing, Notts!
  5. I am not as worried. I think if we defend well and don’t make it easy for them, we will create chances. It’s just about making sure we hit the target enough. However good MK Dons are, if we get in our stride, I think they will struggle. It’s just a case of whether they let us or if we work hard enough. I think their team is pretty average.
  6. Odd, interesting and funny interview. It’s strange to see the pedal centre pushed in the interview. I suppose Charlie Slater didn’t want to 1 v 1 Macca at football.
  7. Good luck to Neal Bishop. I hope he stays within the game and manages to find somewhere to take him on. I could easily see him in a coaching role.
  8. Yes! Hopefully, this stat will continue because it highlights how good last season was. The winning streak, numerous awards, players not missing a minute of action, etc.
  9. Ian Burchnall at Wolves? He either has some good contacts or he’s incredibly lucky to bounce from job to job. Even managers and players with heaps of contacts sometimes struggle. He just strolls from pillar to post.
  10. I can’t be the only fan who wishes Sky would choose a different game. Us vs Mansfield is always shown live. I understand the local derby element, but it’s become boring at this stage. They should show others with more priority than this, but they won’t. Thankfully, I will be at the live game.
  11. Certainly, Adam Chicksen should be the one to start. He performed well in our last game when he came on and has done nothing wrong to find himself out of favour. It’s just that Jodi Jones makes a bigger impact, but this is Chicksen’s chance to prove that he deserves consideration.
  12. County’s dominance or MK Dons’ comeback? This is one match to watch. Come on Notts!
  13. Home wins and fan support: indeed, two key pillars of a successful football team. Here's to many more victories at Meadow Lane!
  14. Good to hear Graham Alexander acknowledging Notts strength. This will definitely fire up both teams.
  15. Carl Regan
  16. Incredible game, hands down to the team! With such odds against us, the boys really showed grit and determination. Top of the league, baby!
  17. WE ARE TOP OF LEAGUE TWO!! Maybe the Nottingham Council wants to make up for the failed National League promotion party by declaring us as the ONLY team in NOTTINGHAM. We are on the up, Notts needs to keep this up because the team is looking better by the game.
  18. I didn’t think Accrington played all that well, they moved the ball around but looked clueless when it came to creating chances. So many of their efforts were just pot luck efforts, which could have been used far more effectively. Thankfully for us, they were clueless but we allowed them back into the game, that free kick stunned us when the header went in. After that, we looked nervous and very much in need of a second goal. Notts did very well to cope with some of their antics, I hate seeing teams timewaste when the game is level. It just shows how scared they are to keep playing. They did whatever they could to break the game up, which the referee seemed clueless to spot.
  19. The attendances are very good right now, it’s a positive thing for a club like Notts. I can see the increasing gates being used to further the club in the long run. If we can hit 10k on a Tuesday night or against an average team, it will be even better.
  20. He’s a very good player, but unproven to a certain extent. He has burst into the Forest team and they suit his talent. I am not sure he is ready to help a team that is supposed to be chasing the top 4. Spurs can bring the best out of players, so I hope that’s the case.
  21. Amazing win! Langstaff with the brace was the highlight. Top of the league, feels great being a Notts supporter right now!
  22. Either team could win on their day. If both teams perform their best, it will be an entertaining game and one that should showcase the quality we have. I think Accrington could easily miss out on the playoffs, but only by a few places. They are a good team, but they lack the goal scorer they had in Paul Mullin. None of their current strikers are players I would say could make our starting line-up, nor would I want them. I think there are only a few players of theirs that would fit our system. They work incredibly well together and their threat is mostly from midfield. If we keep them quiet, Notts will benefit from it massively.
  23. It’s good to see Jodi Jones get another call-up. I am pleased and proud. He’s someone younger fans can connect with.
  24. The difference between the National League and League Two isn’t that big. Some of the semi-pro teams in the National League perform better than your Walsall’s, Forest Greens, and Doncaster Rovers. The difference for me is the extra quality, but former NL teams that enjoyed a good season prior tend to do reasonably well in L2. It couldn’t be that much of a gulf if the standard was much higher. League One is where the gap is greater because there are many more teams who could be playing in the Championship. There are only a handful of teams in League Two that could adapt well to League One IMO.
  25. Lee Bradbury will find another club that he should do better with. Eastleigh can be a good team but they are performing above my expectations of them. I always looked at their squad and thought they were lower mid-table.
