  1. Not an ideal build up but that's no excuse, there will be many games where that will happen this season. Need to find a way to win these games if we have genuine promotion expectations. 3 points dropped for me
  2. Got to be happy with that
  3. Another tick in the box, no one can complain at the moment, we are winning, not perfect by any means, but winning. The good thing is there is room for improvement, we have the makings of a very good side.
  4. Very good 3 points, of course they all are but it was important to back up the Barrow result and not waste it by losing the next game. Building pressure at the top at the right time, hope it continues.
  5. Consistency is the key from now till the end of the season, something we have been lacking imo. I still think he maybe had enough time to keep us up last year, but the rot in the squad had probably already set in. I said at the start of this season it would be difficult, and it is. I will judge him on the whole season and what we achieve, which could still end up with promotion and a trophy, or just further disappointment.
  6. Think that's a bit unfair to be honest, he is managing the squad, making changes, that's his job. Everyone, including me, is quick to jump on him when we are not winning, I think it's only fair we give him some credit when he changes things and they work. Yes a lot of it is down to the players on the pitch, but they are taking instructions from the manager, all teams do. Credit where it is due. Just my opinion.
  7. The chances of catching them are slim to none. We need to win to keep play off hopes alive, though this game alone won't determine that
  8. Any win is a good win, but a big win is extra nice
  9. Yes agreed, I just think with the up an down way we are at the moment, they are a long way off, but as you say, not out of the question
  10. Playoffs look a long way off, but I always thought this would be a difficult season. The longer we are in it, the harder it will be to get out, we are seen as a scalp.
  11. Needs to change things, I'm sure he is aware what's needed, question is can he replace the players who, in truth, probably need to leave. Needs time, but have slipped badly. Thought we were heading in the right direction
  12. Have to admit, I like the way he talks, and he seems to have a good understanding of what needs to be done.
  13. Sooner rather than later please
  14. I think the improvement was there for all to see, despite the setback of being incapable to hold onto a lead. If we continue to see that kind of improvement we should be fine, going to take time though, not expecting to finish high up in the table, despite it being early days. Game management on the agenda please HK, some appear not to have a scooby doo.
  15. I like what I have heard him say, but talk is cheap. Actions are needed. If he reacts as well as he talks he could be a good appointment. A couple of wins will make a world of difference, I would say we are too good to go down, but other teams have thought the same and come unstuck.
  16. Think he will soon realise changes are needed, if he hasn't already, forget giving them a chance, if they ain't good enough, they ain't good enough.
  17. Very happy with that, great appointment in my opinion
  18. Good signing, but to be honest, jabba the hutt is better than what we appear to have at the moment. Welcome to Notts
  19. Time will of course tell. Let's hope he proves to be the right man for the job
  20. Wouldn't have been my choice, hasn't really done much. But now he is here, we have to give the guy a chance. Welcome to Notts Harry.
  21. The board have reacted, now it's the turn of the players. They should at this moment be worrying for their livelihood, they let a manager, who wanted then, down, now with a new manager coming in, probably with different ideas, they need to prove they can/want to be part of the future. Over to the players.
