  1. The club is making good progress. The new recruits appear to be settling in well and the coaching is helping to bring out the best in the squad. The focus now is on the upcoming away game against Sutton. It will be interesting to see whether Slocombe or Stone is selected to play. Both are strong choices, but it will be a difficult decision for Williams to make.
  2. I'm thrilled to see Williams praise the team’s performance in their first pre-season friendly. It seems he realises the importance of starting strong and how significantly it can boost the team’s confidence moving forward. Nevertheless, his caution towards reading too much into the results shows fatherly wisdom. It’s a brilliant balance between encouragement and a gentle reminder to stay grounded.
  3. Keeping a healthy competition for places within the squad is vital. Sounds like Williams is on the right track.
  4. I have voted for Jodi Jones because I feel he’s the one who will stick around and help us the most in gaining promotion. He was very good for Coventry City and will hopefully help us achieve our long-awaited return to the Championship one day.
  5. It's incredible how much the Reedtz brothers have done for Notts County in such a short time. They've truly turned the team around both on and off the field, and it's been a pleasure to follow the club throughout the past four years.
  6. Dan Crowley does seem to be the replacement for Ruben Rodrigues, more so than David McGoldrick. However, both give Luke Williams options. It allows us to play DM up top, so it’s a good signing and the squad is almost complete in my eyes.
  7. Forget Ruben Rodrigues - well, not really - but say hello to the Dan Crowley show. I think he will thrive and be exceptional for Notts.
  8. It’s amazing how the new owners were able to turn things around for the club. Their journey has been a rollercoaster of emotions, but it all paid off in the end.
  9. From Oxford United’s point of view, they have a player who can score and assist. He should do well with them. I am saddened to see him leave, but I reserve my feelings for the forum discussion.
  10. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Reedtz brothers for everything they have done for Notts County. Their unwavering commitment and dedication to the club have not gone unnoticed by the fans. We appreciate all of their hard work and the positive impact they have had on the team. We are truly grateful to have had them as part of our club and wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
  11. McGoldrick’s recollections of driving past the stadium and feeling a sense of belonging illustrate the profound connection he has with Notts County. The club holds a special place in his heart, as it is where he began his professional football career. Returning to the club must evoke a sense of nostalgia and pride for him, as he reflects on his journey and the memories he has made there.
  12. I am very impressed with the Pride of Nottingham site. I enjoy the discussions and feel valued as part of the community. I am looking forward to hearing the podcast. I remember listening to it when I first joined and it will be great to have it back.
  13. He had an impressive amount of speed. He wasn’t quite the finished product for us, but it was clear he was a striker. It’s good to see a former Magpie doing well.
  14. This is a superb signing for Notts County. Jodi Jones is a prodigy who can become one of the best players in the country. He’s got everything you dream of as a winger: speed, trickery, awareness and composure. He was phenomenal during his loan spell and I’m ecstatic that he’s staying with us for longer.
  15. When it comes to class, Ryan Reynolds is just something else. He’s not only incredibly talented and successful, but he’s also a genuinely nice guy. He’s always using his platform to spread positivity and kindness, and it’s so refreshing to see. He truly sets the bar high for what it means to be a class act.
  16. If the fans can't be confident, the team won't be! 2-0 surprise win, just a spirited performance by the lads. Nothing flash or all systems go, just taking the chances which come.
