  1. This is just the kind of news we were waiting for. Up and onward!
  2. I am impressed by Williams' approach and attitude towards the pre-season injuries and the match with Stoke. It's clear that he has strong leadership skills.
  3. Notts County's opening games will surely set the pace for the rest of the season. Looking forward to some thrilling games!
  4. I hope he keeps finding the net like he did last season, there is no reason why he can't get double figures again this season in League Two.
  5. I didn’t attend the game, but from what I’ve read from those who did, Aidan Stone seems like a promising goalkeeper, very vocal. If he can perform like this against Stoke or Forest, he may become the first-choice goalkeeper.
  6. The pressure on young players when they step on the pitch can be immense, especially if they're playing with experienced teammates. Hearing how brilliantly they've handled it from the manager is truly commendable and shows a great deal of maturity on their part.
  7. It's absolutely paramount to be able to change the game and adapt to different situations. We've seen so many teams with potential falter because they lacked that adaptability. Good to see our manager is focusing on this.
  8. Matty Palmer’s performances on the pitch have been nothing short of delightful to witness. His skill and dedication have brought so much excitement to the game, and we can only hope that he continues to have many more successful seasons with Notts County. Here’s to the future and all the thrilling moments it holds for Matty and the team!
  9. In my opinion, David McGoldrick will be our secret weapon this season. His experience and passion for Notts County will definitely make an impact.
  10. The Reedtz brothers have definitely made a massive difference to the club. Their management style and commitment to the team has been a breath of fresh air. Long may this "good dream" continue!
  11. Everyone else has expressed positive opinions on this deal. I can’t add much to it, but I think it’s a solid addition. He’s a player of the right age, mould and ability.
  12. I’m so happy for the team and our fans. They truly deserve this success. Their story is a great sign of the fact that even when things look bleak, there’s always hope for a brighter future.
  13. I am bit surprised myself, but really, his days in Scotland seemed to be limited due to injury. Cal Roberts will be able to help Scunthorpe out far more.
  14. It is a great signing and he should fit in well and do superbly for us. He could be a future Notts County star, signed at the right age!
  15. O’Brien’s journey with Notts has been wonderful to see him achieve success with the club, even if it did take a few seasons.
  16. It’s Jodi Jones fever right now. I’m pleased he’s been called up and excited that he may play against England tomorrow. Give him your backing, everyone!
  17. I started working on a JODI display picture, but I’m happy sticking with JIMBO. I don’t think Jim gets the praise he deserves; he’s always the one giving it out.
  18. McGoldrick’s decision to join Notts County is a sign that the club is heading in the right direction under Luke Williams. Compared to previous seasons when we were in League Two, things seem different.
  19. I am pleased with the signing of McGoldrick. He brings a wealth of experience, quality and passion to the team. I believe he will make a significant impact for us this season and help us achieve our goals. His addition to the squad is a positive development and I am looking forward to seeing him in action.
  20. I think Jodi Jones would be playing with Coventry if it were not for his problems in the injury department; they must have found it difficult to release him. Oxford United might not fit his playing style; you have to be a good ball-playing team to get the most out of someone like Jodi. He is one of those players who puts their soul into playing, especially when fans sing his name. He has a very good talent and will be someone we need to protect and use well when adapting to League Two.
  21. I am not bothered about how the results go; I will be firmly focused on how we perform and even then it’s about getting fitness. It would be a positive thing if Notts can gain some confidence from these games and our promotion; it could be off to the races.
  22. We still need to cut out the errors, such as failing to defend a lead or dominating a game, to be pegged back by a goal before we even score. The high press is more a means to control the game, the defenders need to stay switched on. I think we leave too few back, the system of an extra body in midfield is fine but on the counter or against set pieces it will be exposed unless you have 3 alert centre backs.
  23. He wasn't anything special but tried, it was one of those desperate gamble loans typical of that era's owners. Derby must have been laughing when we took him on loan.
  24. I'm happythat Connell Rawlinson has decided to commit to the club for another two seasons. It's brilliant news for Luke Williams as it adds valuable depth to our roster. Not to mention, we've got the versatile Richard Brindley, who can cover in the centre-back department when needed. It looks like our squad is really taking shape as we move forward. Fingers crossed those other offers get signed swiftly so we can bolster the team with a few fresh faces. Exciting times ahead, indeed!
  25. This is fantastic news! I am absolutely thrilled. Kyle Cameron and Jim O'Brien are the next ones on my wish list, fingers crossed! Come on Notts, let's keep this momentum going!
