Match Discussion: Game 39 - The Spitfires (H)
Notts are growing in confidence every time someone scores, yesterday they could have gotten 5 or more but looked like they wanted to reserve their energy. First half wasn't the most entertaining but the second ended being very enjoyable. A clean sheet, I just hope they don't postpone the league for too long.

Match Discussion: FA Trophy - The Millers (H)
Pleasant game, good performance by Notts. They gave us a lot of space in midfield but credit to them for not giving up.

Coronavirus
The UK should handle the situation well, it's the other nations where I worry it could get out of hand. More do die from a common cold but this is a horrible illness for those that get it.

Match Discussion: Game 36 - Monkey Hangers (A)
Hartlepool is a good away day. Not the best ground to visit but I think this squad should do just fine there. They like to play their football on the floor, so this should suite us also.
-
Match Discussion: Game 35 - The Cardinals (H)
Poor display in the second half, I thought Woking was going to go on and win the game by a landslide until Notts started to gain confidence. How the players broke can be exciting but very few get into the space, they run directly where the opposition is.

Match Discussion: Game 35 - The Cardinals (H)
These are the games that really matter now, drawing can rescue a point but Notts needs to try and maintain the winning form more than picking up the odd one. Avoid defeat at all costs.
-
Match Discussion: FA Trophy - The Glovers (A)
I missed the game due to having other arrangements, I think it shows that the squad can do well with the right approach to a game. The mentality leading in plays a vital role in what happens on the pitch. It sounds like Jim O'Brien did well as the captain.
-
Match Discussion: Game 33 - The Spireites (H)
I can see the game ending goalless myself, its going to be an ugly game unless Notts or Chesterfield decide to work hard enough. I just can see both teams sitting back too much.

Notts County fans pay tribute to Mick Vinter
Some nice words expressed, such a sad loss. Rest in Peace Mick.

Match Discussion: Game 26 - The Shaymen (A)
I think whilst Kyle Wootton is scoring and in form, we stand a chance of winning. I worry more about what happens if he has a dry patch, the service to him and whoever starts up front needs to better.
-
Match Discussion: Game 14 - The Coasters (H)
End to end game which had chances for both teams, a different type of quality in my eyes. Notts looked fitter and more organised, AFC Flyde struggled to adjust to the Notts formation early on and adapted well after re-starting the game. A deserved win for Notts I feel.

Match Discussion: Game 12 - The Ravens (A)
The away form has been okay, performances hit and miss but this one is crucial for settling down. I would take a point too.
-
Match Discussion: Game 11 - The Shaymen (H)
Halifax have been doing better this season if I remember correctly. They know what this league is all about, so I think it will be a tough game. I hope Neal Ardley avoids making changes which aren't needed, he must settle the squad down now.
-
Match Discussion: Game 10 - The U's (A)
I would take the point, things aren't that bad this season. Give the club chance.
-
Match Discussion: Game 8 - The Glovers (A)
The club seems confident with their tweet about not having one for awhile and wanting to build on their undefeated run. That's fighting talk for me! 3-1 Notts. Dennis, Thomas and Booty to score.
-
Match Discussion: Game 3 - The Bees (H)
I have a nervous feeling about if the game goes wrong today, a lack of strikers is a real issue and if Tyson and Dennis aren't quite up to it Notts will be very limited. You have to hope the goals can come from the midfield.
-
Match Discussion: Game 35 - The Valiants (H)
If Notts focused on passing and slowing down the game calmly, I would be confident that a win would be on the cards. Prediction? I have no idea.
-
Match Discussion: Game 30 - The Exiles (H)
A good result and we could be in dreamland for the first time this season, the form and confidence is a massive point now. Newport are there for the taking.

Match Discussion: Game 33 - The Stags (H)
Avoid any unnecessary changes, focus on defending strongly and just for broke when able to counter. I think Mansfield will want to slow the game down and play quite fast when it suites them. I am not sure Notts can win, I don't expect that but a draw would be a good result.
-
Match Discussion: Game 32 - Green Devils (A)
Jon Stead is due a goal I think. If Notts can start well, I think they will go onto win the game. Scoring at least two goals would be important, the team can't rely on keeping a clean sheet.
-
Match Discussion: Game 31 - The Imps (H)
Yes, good performance by the team. I think the draw must be seen as a good point and the foundations for further improvement. Promising signs finally!
-
Match Discussion: Game 21 - Stags (A)
Team news It looks like Jamie Turley is at right back, I would have rather seen him play at centre back.
-
Match Discussion: Game 14 - The Shakers (A)
I haven't long listened to the latest PONcast but the preview sounds spot on with what @Chris and @samwatto2008 mentioned. There's the need to start giving players game time, especially the likes of Kristian Dennis who can only come good with a fair run in the team. Bringing any player on for the last 15 minutes isn't enough for them to gave on the same wavelength as other players and I just feel Dennis might be a waste of money unless the club starts to work with him. I would give Dennis and Hemmings the nod. Save Stead for when the Bury legs get tired and whoever is performing the best out of Dennis and Hemmings should remain on the field.
-
Match Discussion: Game 12 - The Silkmen (A)
I am more than happy with the three points, over the performance. Winning pretty is great but there is a lot of satisfaction from winning ugly.
