  1. If you can bear it, here's Halifax's extended highlights.
  2. The last three games are not a good advertisement for Notts, if Yeovil do their homework it could be a very difficult game. As mentioned before me, if Notts turns up and attacks well, taking some of the pressure of the defence a good result could come. Its time Notts bounces back.
  3. @menzinho I fear another 1-0, I hope its Notts that gets the win.
  4. Frustrating game at the end of the day, Notts didn't turn up and all the basics were wrong. I don't think either team played well, they just took their chance and nobody could've changed the outcome of that. Notts needs to be a lot more direct, I would welcome a change back to a more attacking formation. Those defensive issues will resolve themselves in time. I think we're both to blame, I did say 1-0 after all and that I hoped it would be to Notts. The point @Chris is trying to make is that Notts relies heavily on the more creative players, they do a lot of the running and chasing of the game. I would agree that Ruben Rodrigues is either tired or carrying some form of knock. He hasn't been at his best at all as of late and seems much slower than normal. @Elite_pie are you forgetting that there wasn't the usual break between seasons? This has to factor in with some of the players. Once last season ended, the new campaign began quicker due to the mess created by covid. As for the argumentative comment about "facilities and squad depth", that is nonsense. You cannot compare every player in this league to each other, in terms of fitness. Its a narrow and weak way to make a point. The facilities at Notts are good, it does depend on the players condition. I think Notts needs to work better as a team personally, instead of giving the ball to the out wide areas and expecting them to do the damage.
  5. @menzinho Don't jinx it. Notts are on fire right now and with the momentum building, the club could find themselves closer to the top space. I also think the game will be decided by one goal, I am just undetermined if it will be Notts, but my heart and mind thinks we can do it. Cal Roberts to score from the edge of the penalty box, how's that?
  6. A good strong performance and a clean sheet wouldn't go a miss, it's been a while since Notts has won a team at home convincingly. 4-0 Notts would be my prediction. Kyle Wootton x2 Roberts Cameron
  7. Mistakes will happen at our level, that is one thing some fans can't comprehend. Both teams have gotten off to a good start, a draw for Notts isn't bad. If anything it puts Wrexham in an awkward as they will be expected to win with the signings they've made. The draw shows Notts can compete with good teams and handle heavy pressure. All of which is useful in order to improve. I'll take a draw.
  8. Positive news from the Notts County board, hope more fans take up buying a season ticket this season.
  9. I have to agree, being given the squad number 15 makes me believe Ian Burchnall sees him as player in contention to play.
  10. A box to box midfielder is exactly what is needed, hopefully his EFL experience brings some creative flair to this level. It's an impressive signing.
  11. Impressed by this signing, keep him fit and look after the lad. Notts will reap their rewards!
  12. It looks like he's learned his lesson, the lad just wants to play. If he can stay fit for the most part of the season, Notts should be doing something right.
  13. In the middle of the back 3 defenders, I think it would suite him more. Good to see him extend his stay!
  14. Performance was excellent and the result even better, its good to see the smiles on the players faces. 5 massive games remain, beating then 2nd place and bottom of the table it would be good to see things end well this season.
  15. No quills about DKE being sent off, it happens but it was a point in the game that could have tipped the game in the balance of Sutton. Notts played better better with 10 men than they at times this season with 11.
  16. Supported. ????????
  17. Good win for Notts, there's something to build on now but with the uncertainty of the league looming over. Will this be another false dawn? Great goal by Sam, if he meant to shoot or if it was a pass it brought all 3 points home.
  18. Centre-Back and a stronger experienced midfielder than Wolfe please.
  19. Dagenham & Redbridge are the type of team you don't really know which of their team will turn up, their in poor form but that sometimes means little. Being at home you would have to believe they'll be up for it more. I think this will be a 1-2 to Notts win. Walker and Doyle to score.
  20. Notts never does well against a side that has sacked their manager, the curse needs to be broken but I don't see it happening.
  21. Junior school is vital to a child's development but what is learned can be taught by any responsible person. Provided that checks are made to see if the child is progressing. I would say I don't feel there is any need to send them to school during a lockdown. Teenagers in compressive school have a much more serious curriculum. That is important but ensuring that the guidelines are followed by them does seem harder, as they will be more inclined to spend time with their friends and mix with others. Younger children can be guided by teachers, at the older ages you see more rebellion and unruly behaviour.
  22. Don't dwell on what you can't change @Chris, in the eyes of most Notts fans you're a champ! Considering all you do with your own struggles.
  23. @Super_Danny_Allsopp Keep the faith though. Notts has a good squad and Neal Ardley isn't the type to just allow himself to get the sack so easily. I just write games like this off as a bad day at the office, if we lost 6 in a row or something I might be more inclined to be more annoyed. No manager at this level is perfect, I have faith that the next match will be better provided the club doesn't get rid of him.
  24. Due to Altrincham the club now has to miss the FA Cup which could've provided financial benefits, and have to sit out the recent progress in match form due to the 2 weeks break. If any of the squad will be training, focus on fixing the defence and set piece issues.
  25. It might be done on the day. I agree that Neal Ardley won't allow the team to go into this game overly confident, but being at home it would be more encouraging. The grass allows for slick football, the players are used to it and I generally think it will be a better game for this reason.
