It's all quiet next door now.All the vans and cars attending next door have gone.I have just had a walk down the access path,all the way to next door's back gate,and ...... well , it looks like everything has been removed that should have been removed.The path is very muddy now ,but that is to be expected.It was dry soil before today but has been made worse by the repeated trampling and dragging of things and not helped by the hail storm that occured while stuff was being shift. Perhaps there'll be a bit of continual peace and quiet now.Whoopee!

Yesterday was Tesco delivery day and @william1984, and @Harrys_Mummy came round to collect their part of the shopping.It was an insert day at school so grandkids Luna and @Harry Buckley came with them and gave me my birthday cards and early present.Don't grandkids love to wind you up. Earlier ,next door's landlord/renovator told me he would be putting the fence that was blown down in the recent gales back up and that he was also hoping to complete all his work .I reminded him that some of the rubbish his last tenant had left in the access path down the side and along the outside of the bottom of my garden was still there. He told me he had paid to have it removed.I told him this wasn;t the case as there was still some items remaining including the dustbin full of soiled nappies.His reply was that someone else must have left the dustbin.So I asked him why it was marked with the same number as the house he was renovating.He wasn't very happy.This morning the bin was removed by landlord's helper.I'm hoping for a bit of peace and quiet now.

My maternal grandfather was a Park Avenue fan and my dad took him and myself to a game in the 1950's.I can't remember who the opposition was but we sat in a stand very similar to the old Baseball Ground stands except for the lack of fans.The Rams bought Kevin Hector off them in 1966 and he went on to make the most appearances and win 2 League titles with us.I wish we had him, in his prime ,now!
