Wordle 1,392 5/6 ⬜🟨⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟨⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟨⬜🟨 🟩🟩⬜🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩A bit of brain fog this morning.

@Robbie, the Rams are still recovering from the EFL transfer embargo and wage restrictions imposed by The EFL after points deductions and going into administration. Some restriction weren't lifted until August last year ,which didn't help much with recruiting at the beginning of this season. Squad size and wages offered has limits applied.I think Paul Warne ,and before that,Liam Rosenior did a fantastic working with both hands tied as it were.New owner David Clowes has made no secret about the fact he is looking for additional investment but insists the future of my club has to be sustainable. The days of silly money spending under Mel Morris are gone ,similar to Notts and Mr Hardy.

I went to my local shop this morning and incorporated the walk with a visit to the Medical centre to arrange my annual review and collect a sample bottle. On the way home I witnessed a police chase.I was aware of an emergency vehicle approaching me from behind ,as I could hear a siren. This turned out to be a police car which passed me at high speed. The cop car turned off the road I was on and I continued on my way.A minute or two later 2 police women came running up from behind me and turned up into my close. Here they caught a young lad ,about18/19,who was being very abusive but was quickly cuffed and led away. The lad was swearing and denying assaulting anyone.I felt like I was in a TV cop program episode. It doesn't happen every day, thank god

Very happy with Wednesday's performance.Long may it continue for both my teams

I worked at Simon,May & co Ltd at Weekday Cross from 1963 to 1997.There were caves there that extended below the cellars.Myself and a couple of mates entered one but we only had cigarette lighters to light the way. From what I was told at the time they were made available as air raid shelters during the war but think that was just for employees .
