  1. Barnsley are taking a bit of a gamble by signing Andy Dallas. He had one very good season in the National League and two average ones. The last time he was in the Football League, he struggled with the step up in quality. It’s good for Andy Dallas, as if it doesn’t work out, a League Two team will surely sign him. However, he was younger the last time and may have found his confidence in scoring goals. We’ll have to keep an eye on this one.
  2. Good result for Notts, as Macaulay Langstaff scored 3 goals before half-time. I wonder if those who were concerned about losing to Stoke and Forest now believe we will win the league?
  3. Welcome to PON, @George L! It's nice to have you here.
  4. Welcome to PON @Steveyward.
  5. Welcome to PON, what's it like having the KOP chant your username @JustLikeJuve?
  6. And Craig Westcarr played for them too.
  7. Absolutely delighted to see such a dominant performance from Notts County. Cedwyn Scott's conversion of that cross from O'Brien was nothing short of spectacular. It's always rewarding to see a match where we use our opportunities to our advantage and pull off victories. Looking forward to more performances and wins like this one!
  8. It’s good that nobody was hurt. I can’t understand how it could have happened in the first place, but there’s always someone mad out there.
  9. Joe Palmer, welcome to Meadow Lane. If you happen to come across fans’ opinions like mine while browsing, let me tell you that Notts isn’t just the world’s oldest professional football league club. We also have one of the most loyal fan bases in history and have weathered everything football has thrown at us. We’ve been there throughout. I hope you enjoy your time with the club.
  10. Joss Labadie should do well with them. It’s good to see him making a move to a local club near where he’s from. I wish him all the success with the club, as it would be nice to see them reach the playoffs and beat Chesterfield. ????
  11. The off-season is always a quiet time for me. I usually don’t do anything other than watch football, so things can become a bit boring without match days. However, after our win at Wembley, I felt like this time things went quickly. It might be because we’re all looking forward to the season instead of dreading it!
  12. should probably watch a few of the World Cup games, but I haven’t so far. With all the hype surrounding the England ladies, I fully expect them to crash out. They did amazingly well in the Euros, and it was great to see the nation get behind them. However, some of the female pundits have been overly biased towards England. If Rio Ferdinand said he believed England would win the World Cup, the press would dissect his opinion, but we have to accept this? It’s just a bit over-the-top and frustrating.
  13. Personally, I hope Sochaux can resolve this issue. I hate seeing football clubs suffer.
  14. Boston United gave Notts a better game, but it was one of those pre-season friendlies that neither team really got into. I don’t think the rain helped the mood, but it was good to see Cedwyn Scott score.
  15. At the time, I thought the numbers should have been reversed. I believed the club might have given Tiernan Brooks a lower number and assigned his current number to Aidan Stone. I prefer the old way, where numbers 1-11 were assigned to players expected to be regular starters. It makes sense, but it’s not particularly newsworthy.

  23. Truly applaud the team's hard work and Williams' management. It’s exciting to see this blend of organisational discipline and creativity on the pitch. I'm looking forward to seeing more improved performances in the regular season. They're certainly making the pre-season friendlies exceptional to watch!
  24. Richo is a true Notts legend. He’s a wonderful person who always thinks of others before himself. He remains one of my all-time favourite Notts players. He was a rock for the club, standing by us during some of our toughest times, doing everything in his power to help the club while also giving his all on the pitch. A true Notts hero.
  25. Reading this article fills me with warmth. The sense of community and togetherness really shines through in this story. It’s not just about the competition; it’s about our city coming together to celebrate football and our very own Notts County.
