  7. This is excellent news! Although, I must say, my happiness will increase once I hear about more players signing with Notts County. Despite that, hearing about Connell Rawlinson's commitment to the team has left me feeling excited about the season ahead. I'm glad to see that Notts County is taking such bold steps towards strengthening their squad. I hope to hear more positive news about other players soon. Nonetheless, I'm confident and excited about the upcoming season with this good news in hand.
  8. Good news! I will be happier once some of the others put pen to paper. Yet, I am delighted Connell Rawlinson had committed to Notts.
  9. It's a completely separate level, isn't it? We are far away from those teams that invest millions into their players. Although I have high hopes to see Notts at an elevated level, I am content for the club to grow in the right way and give the necessary time needed to achieve those greater standards.
  10. The website in question is consistently filled with rubbish, as they are notorious for disseminating false tweets. One particular scheme they employ is clickbaiting people. I did come across another source that mentioned interest from Plymouth and Ipswich. However, I shall reserve judgement until there is solid evidence to support this claim.
  11. Stoke City is a rather decent team to invite to Meadow Lane, as they contribute a significant amount of support. It's not something I believe to be entirely negative at all.
  12. Don't believe rumours until they're proven true. Scoop Curtis probably won't look into it since he mostly covers Derby. Too much effort got him, they should hire Ollie.
  13. The work appears to be of a high-quality, Chris.
  14. I’m so sad to hear about Who r ya!! You Pies!!. They were a valuable and respected member of this forum. They always had something smart and funny to say. My condolences to their family and friends.
  15. Jodi Jones is a star in his own right. His performance last season while on loan was nothing short of instrumental in our survival. He scored some truly amazing goals and showed us all just how much talent and potential he has. And the best part? He’s still young! He’s exactly the type of player we need if we want to push for promotion next season. The board and manager deserve a round of applause for securing him.
  16. Congratulations to Notts Forest for their impressive feat of surviving relegation from the Premier League. It’s a tough challenge, but they’ve risen to it with courage and skill. I suppose even a broken clock is right twice a day.
  17. The Reedtz brothers’ determination to bring future successes to the club is evident in their statement. As a fan, it’s exciting to see their passion and commitment to Notts County.
  18. A draw in a cup game isn't a bad result away from home, I felt Notts did well in spells but neither team punished the other or made the most of chances.
  19. 1-0 would do me fine, just get into the next round.
  20. Connell Rawlinson needs to improve on his earlier performances, but I welcome him returning.
  21. It's a solid signing, especially on a free. Torquay United will be feeling like they've gotten mugged due to losing all of their best players.
  22. Rodrigues should play as an AM, play him just behind the strikers in an attacking role. It would be a lot of work for him, as he would need to pull back and cover with Doyle. This is why it would be good to have 2 wingers who could actually defend, not a luxury. I mean Roberts is perfectly fine but Ardley spoke about wanting us to attack in a line. There's very little support currently for those out wide.
  23. It's been a good season, lets hope the recruitment is on par or better than this past campaign. It's hard to criticise the released players, the club has a budget to stick with.
  24. Personally, I would just put down a lockdown that meant only health processionals and key workers had to go to work. Some of these "keyworking" jobs aren't vital. Markets should be closed, supermarkets remain open. Food establishments need to be closed. It's the weaker areas that will continue to keep this spreading, those having parties, panic buying are only part of the issue.
  25. Entertaining game even though Notts appeared to be stargazers in the first half, Aldershot converted an excellent built up goal. Notts responded well from that setback. Second half ended up being the better of the two, simply due to Notts dominating it but it was a good game.
