On the fence, Ian Burchnall spoke out about post-match melee after Notts lost at Halifax.
I don't understand why Notts are allowing teams to get the better of them, its just frustrating and poor. In stead of building the hype for promotion, they need to build on it quietly by working hard.

Match Discussion: Game 9 - The Cardinals (H)
2-0 Notts is my prediction. I think the first 45 minutes will be uneventful, with a few chances on goal for both teams but nothing clear. Second half, changes will make things start to happen. I think Aaron Nemane will end up on the score sheet. Now is his chance to come in, stay fit and establish himself into the squad.

Match Discussion: Game 8 - The Robins (A)
Its the cutting edge to finish chances that Notts are lacking, if we took some of the few ones that could've ended up in the back of the net, I do think the game could've ended differently. A goal often chances things more than not, I can also see a lot of frustration in the players faces at times and I think that is something that needs to be worked past. DKE has a good chance, but Notts never pressed enough to cause them any headaches. Poor in possession, poor with our touch, slow to get going and just uncomfortable going forward. I have to say, I think Patterson had a superb debut and look like he had been playing regularly. That is one positive to take, as he seems to be reliable and a good option to have, think this competition will help when Sam Slocombe returns if Notts chooses to keep Patterson.

Match Discussion: Game 8 - The Robins (A)
Its one of those away games we really could do with winning but as people say, we need to respect a point and even keep our undefeated run going for as long as possible. I don't think much the regular lineup needs changing at all. I would like to see Nemane come on at some stage, I think he could cause a lot of problems.

Match Discussion: Game 2 - The Gulls (H)
Its hardly a bad draw. Torquay started very brightly and they made it difficult for Notts to get hold of the game. The first half had some good chances, I don't think it was awful but it was somewhere between acceptable and that. Torquay looked like they knew it was a matter of time before Notts pulled level, the time wasting was pathetic. I thought Notts handled the second half way, coming out fast and the subs made a big impact. I think Nemane coming on injects a lot of skill, his linking with Roberts was enjoyable. I did feel DKE needed to be allowed to run a little more, but its frustrating to see players hit stupidly high balls towards him. Defensively I thought Notts did just fine. Attacking we need to be more decisive in the first half, slow the game down and avoid passing sideways all the time. I liked some of the runs players did, but a lot of the time it went unnoticed. In the second half, this was the biggest change because we started moving with the ball better and passing it to players in space. With others making runs and finding their own pockets of space, we did not have much of this in the first half.

Notts County board issues 'immense gratitude' after club sells over 3,000 season tickets
After COVID, I think the fans will be keen to have a day out to Meadow Lane and watch this exciting team play their football. The club hasn't addressed if streams will be made available still, I think exiled and overseas fans would support it in their drones. Positive news. ????

Opinion: Notts must unleash rarely-seen 22-year-old next season, could really help promotion tilt
He looks like someone who can learn and improve, I just question will we get the best out of him? It was a nice story that signing for Notts allowed him to leave his job at Costa [I think it was], but we don't always get the most out of players. For the record I want to say I think hes a good player in the making but its all down to if he gets the game time. also if notts are able to wait for him to improve, i dont think hes far off the standard we are.

Ian Burchnall adds experienced English Football League midfielder Matt Palmer to the Notts County ranks
Top signing!

Notts County complete the signing of former Manchester City free agent Ed Francis
Used to be a left back, but now wants to move into midfield. It sounds promising that Michael Doyle aims to work with him!

18-year-old Notts County prospect 'over the moon' to have signed his first professional deal
Notts needs to figure out a pathway for young players like Tyreace Palmer to come into the squad, he looks a but lightweight though. He needs to bulk up a bit for the senior game without losing any pace.

Notts County first summer signing announced as former Torquay United defender Kyle Cameron
Hard to say anything other than how delighted I am that we have signed a very good defender!

Match Discussion: Play Off Semi Final - The Gulls (A)
I will take a 0-1 win right now, thank you. I don't want Ian Burchnall changed much, people want Rawlinson out but I think that's madness even though he has struggled. Give him time to adapt! He's been a consistently good player since he arrived.

Match Discussion: Game 43 - The Bees (A)
Barnet have their own defensive issues, we have players who could exploit this but we need to mark better.
-
Match Discussion: Game 36 - The Cardinals (A)
4-2 win isn't bad, coming back from 2-1 is a good sign but at 1-0 Notts does need to learn to control the games. This season once a team scores its almost a domino effect and a bet on the oppositions next goal isn't a matter of if but when.
-
Match Discussion: Game 22 - The Terras (A)
Stats don't mean much, they change all the time and its form which is the main thing. The win over Weymouth was a good result, it could've easily been a draw.

Notts County's Cal Roberts masterstroke
Just need to see him back, but he does need to have some rest. I think his contract extension is a good bit of business, it saves the hassle of worrying that he will be off without some income coming in.

Shaun Derry: The Magpie Circle - The Great Escape double episode feature
I think Derry deserved better but the club was moving towards league two by every season.

Match Discussion: Game 13 - The Cardinals (H)
I think it will be a comfortable win for Notts if they keep up the creative side. Dagenham just wasn't our day.

Coronavirus
I get all that. When you have multiple pupils contracting COVID-19 and your school decides to start mixing forms because the amount of cases are causing classes to become small. It's not the way to handle it. A friend of mine came in the other day, felt unwell but school insisted that if you show no signs of the Coronavirus you are still fit to come in. He got tested later that day and confirmed to be positive. This will put others at risk, schools should close for anyone who can be at home safely.

Coronavirus
Close the schools!! How many outbreaks does it take before this happens. My school are now mixing forms because of the amount of pupils now requiring to self isolate. When we went back, our head of year said it would happen if 5 pupils from the school had contracted COVID-19. Who's keeping it open then?

Match Discussion: Game 8 - The Hatters (H)
It will be a total U turn if Notts wins but I fear what might occur if a defeat comes. Stockport can be beaten, its just about the work rate and desire in the game. Notts needs to be quicker, more keen to get the ball and press the opposition.

Match Discussion: Game 7 - The Shots (A)
I don't know why so many of the players struggled to stay on their feet, maybe the pitch but it was just a poor display. Notts never set the pace, I am not sure why its all Ardley's fault because the players should've done better yesterday regardless of the tactics. The players just never looked like creating a good chance on goal.

Match Discussion: Game 4 - The U's (A)
I just hope for a better away performance, if we don't change too much, I feel a win will come.
