  1. It felt good to annoy Bromley, their players seem about the standard of this league. All thinking they're special.
  2. How would I be able to start a blog on PON?
  3. I don't think Notts looked like they would score today, there was glimpses of good stuff but many of the players just seemed content to pass the ball. Nobody really digged deep enough. I think we are somewhat lucky to leave with a point, considering two of their efforts. One of which was cleared off the line!
  4. I am looking forward to the game, it will have a good vibe I think. I'm not getting carried away by beating Halifax, but that said I do think we should do well. A draw wouldn't be the worst case scenario but winning at home is something the players should strive for.
  5. I think the signings have been very good, but his management style doesn't seem the best for motivating players to do well or to come in and fight for a starting place. I want Neal Ardley to succeed, he has the ability but when he replaces one player and shoves the other out of the door. It just seems like we might be doing what Mansfield did, they signed a lot of players and hoped it would come good. In the end they appointed someone who stuck with the team and they got promoted.
  6. I'm fearing another defeat, everything seems negative and I don't think Neal Ardley will make changes. If Sam Osborne doesn't start after he won the Chesterfield game, it will just lead to people wanting him out. He needs to get a response from the players.
  7. I do think Notts are in better shape than I had imagined, I do wonder if some more attacking minded would do better with the pressure caused by switching off at the back.
  8. I thought Notts would have tried to prove a point but it was disappointing. The result could have been different had some of our players took their chances. Too many are switching off all the time.
  9. I am hoping that Notts keeps a clean sheet and wins the game 2-0. I would go for Wes Thomas and Enzio to grab the goals.
  10. The club mishandled how they pushed Matt's depression out onto the fans, I don't think it should have been done and seemed at the time something quite dumb. I think Matt does well to open up, I can't imagine how hard it is but it seems like he might think his depression is connected without saying it. Some fans need to look at themselves when it comes to what they write, say or tweet.
  11. Good grafting win by Notts, thought the game was controlled well with some excellent build up play.
  12. I hope Regan Booty goes in for Michael Doyle and Pierce Bird for Sam Graham.
  13. I don't think Notts should be concerned about Bromley previous games, yes they might be tough but if Notts stay grouped I think they could find us to be difficult too.
  14. I don't know what to say about this game, the past few matches have damped my mood and I don't know which Notts squad will turn up on the day. ????‍♂️
  15. i hope notts can grab another win, think we have had the best away support in the national league. it could push notts nicely up the table.
  16. Fantastic result and a clean sheet, hope the morale is boosted from the deserved in.
  17. Pierce Bird does seem promising and after taking his chances last season, I feel Notts should be trying establish him as a regular within the first team.
  18. I just want the season to be over now, I hope and dream that Notts can survive but I don't think its likely.
  19. Poor result and little signs of bouncing back, think Notts are leaving it too late.
  20. The squad is capable of winning but the team always performs differently. I want to see Neal Ardley send a strong message after Mansfield and focus on Notts being more attacking minded. To defend only invites pressure and attacking is the best means to control games. I think we don't have the players to counter well without running into problems. So the midfield need to play closely, Nathan Thomas might play well tomorrow but I wouldn't stand him.
  21. Notts won't win we know that but a 1-1 or 2-2 draw could happen.
  22. Not interested, just use the game to try and win. Lead into Mansfield with some confidence and belief, how they play does matter but the scoreline doesn't for me.
  23. I don't like saying it but I expect a loss, it might be a blessing in disguise so that the club can focus on the league.
  24. Solid second half performance and a good win, I enjoyed the game.
  25. It's good to see Jimmy being respected by those who knew and played with him.
