  1. Nobody really knows for sure, we can only speculate, but I feel like he will have enjoyed his time here enough to want to stay for at least another season. He signed a three-year deal, so unless someone offers him stupid money, which would then be reinvested, I think he'll stick around. Whatever he decides, I'll respect it, but I believe both us and Langstaff have the potential to grow together. He seems smart enough to realise that he's building a legacy and a legendary status here while perfecting his craft.
  2. Welcome @Dry Nelson Ray,
  3. Players prior to the Reedtz brothers appear to be those on the decline, rather than on the rise. There are a few exceptions, but I believe it is a sign of how poor the recruitment used to be. Players were chosen based on chance, with little effort made to understand the dynamics of the player. I believed Zeli was good, but not very reliable.
  4. Next season, who would be against Netflix doing a rival to 'Welcome to Wrexham' and producing a 'This is Meadow Lane' mini-documentary series? Pride of Nottingham and @ARLukomski should pitch the idea.
  5. Phil Parkinson needed to talk less on BT Sports, I almost fell asleep during his segment! Aaron Mclean is so boring and frustrating, ugh. But the lineup for Notts looks strong, I hope Ruben Rodrigues shows his masterclass and teaches those Welsh **** what real football is all about!
  6. This game has become a crucial fixture, and many supporters had anticipated its significance. However, I don't believe that we should fear Wrexham; rather, we need to be defensively sound. In my opinion, throwing everything at them would be unwise. We ought to attack when the opportunity arises, maintain possession when possible, and defend courageously whenever necessary. It's crucial to avoid making rash challenges and pulling shirts, and we must be wary of their tendency to dive, particularly Paul Mullin. Notts must protect Archie Mair, preventing Wrexham from having clear one-on-one chances and blocking everything that comes our way. If we provide him with adequate coverage, I am confident that he will thwart their attempts. Let's go on the attack, create opportunities, and secure those points.
  7. None of our players played badly, but I thought some of theirs were terrible. I know they're part-timers, but it looked a lot worse than that. From poor touches, awful clearances to iffy passing, with how Notts attacked, it was easy to control them. I thought Archie Mair did well with the chances they had. To see him mug off their players multiple times was funny to see.
  8. I think Luke Williams has done incredibly well to take the pressure off and protect his players. I thought it was negative of him to say it was over, but in hindsight, I can see it's just him trying to shield the players from expectations or getting carried away.
  9. The players did incredibly well to keep their emotions and feelings in check. One thing we have to respect under Luke Williams' management is how composed the squad is. There might be spells where it's difficult, but usually, it's there, and it's one of the reasons we have done so well.
  10. Mate, there's just no comparison between how Notts County plays and them. Yeah sure, they can perform well sometimes, but they're just your typical National League team. Like seriously, take a look at their results against Chesterfield and even Scunthorpe - can you honestly tell me that they played well? Nah mate, they got absolutely battered by both teams, and let's be real here, Scunthorpe are a very poor team. It's just a fact that Notts County are on a whole other level compared to them. They've got the talent, the tactics, and the overall ability to dominate on the pitch. I mean, have you seen the way they've been playing lately? It's just pure class. But hey, I guess everyone's entitled to their own opinion, right? Some people just can't see the obvious.
  11. Proper chuffed to hear the good news about Scott, mate. It's always a relief when a key player's injury isn't as bad as first thought. As for Morias, I'm still well keen to see him in a Notts shirt. It's a bit gutting that his injury in training is holding him back, though. I hope he gets fully fit soon and can start contributing to the team. Having both Scott and Morias back in action could be just the boost Notts needs to really push on from here. Fingers crossed they'll both be back on the pitch soon and smashing it!
  12. Yeah, totally agree about the free kick being questionable, but at the end of the day, a win is a win! Mair was an absolute legend and deserves a ton of credit for keeping Notts in the game. Honestly, I have so much more faith in him now. It's not easy to win away from home and keep a clean sheet, so we should be proud of that accomplishment!
  13. As I was saying on the "It's Over" topic, if we win this match, it means that Wrexham will have two games in hand, which will add pressure. Regardless of what happens on the pitch, Notts must ensure that they score enough goals to secure the victory tomorrow.
  14. I really enjoyed the game, we smashed Scunthorpe United but the way they played kinda ruined the victory for me. They were proper rubbish, like it almost spoiled the game. If it wasn't for some sick moves from Ruben, Langstaff, Austin, O'Brien, and Palmer, I reckon it would've been dead boring. I know it might sound controversial, but I don't like games where it's totally one-sided, and that's exactly what this was. I'm stoked that we won though, especially with Langstaff getting a couple of goals. The team was sick, but it's just a shame that Scunthorpe didn't put up more of a fight.
  15. This is the perfect stage for Notts County, Luke Williams is right.
  16. Notts County have a great chance to pick up three points against Scunthorpe United at Meadow Lane. The Iron have struggled on the road this season, and County will be looking to take advantage of that.
  17. I think Ruben played one of his best games yesterday, the whole team did but did anyone think Chicksen stayed back a bit more than he normally would? He barely got involved in the attacks.
  18. Lincoln looked like a Sunday league keeper, scrambling to the ball every time a pass got placed through and one of our players had to run onto it. I think he fouled Nemane, which he did not even get spoken to. The result was good, but the performance a lot better. You could see little bits that the players had been working on in training and I think it paid off.
  19. What a player he is! I like Bajrami as a person and player.
  20. In their last game, Chesterfield beat them 4-1. They look to be the type of team that attempts to hang onto games, instead of going for the win. On paper Notts should be comfortable but this could be one of those games where we are too complacent. The win being expected but they do their best to see the game out as a draw, with Colin Slater's death it will be cumbersome. I hope Notts smashes them, as I think we are as good as Chesterfield. There is no guarantee, I just hope we bring the game to Barnet.
  21. I hope all this transfer speculation doesn't bother the performances of those attracting interest, its difficult enough at this level not to allow potential moves to turn heads. Dagenham & Redbridge have been consistently poor when I have seen them play, nothing special at all. If we fail to get a good result then I would be disappointed. Starting a winning streak and building momentum could make the Christmas period much easier on us. The players have to work on this, but I think Notts should win.
  22. In the form table we are side by side, with Notts at 10th and them at 11th. I don't think we've beat Eastleigh yet, so it will be a challenge. Things like this must change and if we can beat them, momentum will be adding up nicely. That said I think the game will be a goalless draw.
  23. Chicksen did play poorly, end of. Even his fans can't defend his shoddy performance against Rochdale. He can be good, but not when Taylor is in the side. Chicksen overlaps well but defensively he's not that good,
  24. Make a few smart changes, leave Patterson in goal and just stick to the same game plan of passing into space. I would like to see Nemane and Roberts both play, Burchnall said he put Roberts on the left because of his natural foot, he did well with Taylor and we have focused a lot on the right hand side a little too much for me. It would be nice to have Nemane on the right, Roberts on the left and Rodrigues in the middle. Wootton up top to get those all important goals.
  25. Good to see the confidence lifting, I didn't think much of that Dallas or Rooney - they should be a formidable team at this level but we kept them quiet. I don't think Solihull really troubled Patterson, he looked calm and collected. The atmosphere could've been better before we led the game but it was still amazing, great team performance.
