  1. Langstaff started for Millwall last night. Not sure it would be a good move anyway 🤔. Old adage of never returning once you left. You left for a reason so what's changed?
  2. Michael Doyle looking for a job and JO'B would be an interesting duo 🤔
  3. This is clear evidence that the recruitment team have learnt from their mistakes after promotion. Sadly there is no room for sentiment. Ask our promotion winning captain. This statement says 7 out of 10 is not good enough to earn a contract. You need to be able produce 8 out of 10 performances. 7 is a given. Maybe harsh, but they have clearly said that each addition needs to improve the quality, not just make up the numbers. Martin must have been close, but they obviously feel they have better options available. Good fortune to them both.
  4. Very good interview on the NCFC website. Confident, assured young man. Still can't understand the 6 month contract though. Any ideas?
  5. He said to the local MK rag 'he loves Notts but needs to look after his kids' futures'. Thought he would have been a bit more loyal. Sadly money talks it appears but as someone said, why not wait until the end of the season when he would.have a lot more clubs interested in him?
  6. Sadly another agent looking for a last pay day.
  7. Agree. The Brothers will support SM unless the next 6 games are a disaster. They know chopping and changing does not work and I believe the stats support this too. Changing manager mid season only works less than half the time. A manager needs at least 3, preferably 4 windows to make it his team. This allows contracts to run out and free up funds as well as time for tactics to evolve and improve with experience. Sadly, most owners and so many supporters fail to see this. Fortunately The Brothers are not so short sighted. We need to remember how fortunate we are to have them as owners.
  8. Maybe he had enough of loans and wanted first team football? Can't blame him especially as Gateshead seem to have a good structure about them.
  9. Gateshead 2 Boston 0 as I write.
  10. Or just maybe the step up to the efl was a step too far?
  11. Totally agree. Being positive I'm hoping Jodi and others are looking around the training pitch thinking 'Hay! We can do this with this group'
  12. Yes it's a sign of your age and probably mine too! However, the Notts media us truly excellent and long may they bring excitement to the Lane

  15. Is this from a match program? I miss Colin Slater. He was the commentator I listened to when I first started watching football.
  16. ‘Half of Serbia is Millwall’ – striker makes Lions move in club-record deal SOUTHWARKNEWS.CO.UK MIHAILO Ivanovic reckons 'half of Serbia' will now be Millwall fans after the striker completed a... So Jervani Brown goes back to Bristol in January and Langstaff returns to his second home to play again with his mates who serve him up tasty morsels in front of goal. Simples!!
  17. Josh Coburn: Millwall sign Middlesbrough striker on loan - BBC Sport WWW.BBC.COM Millwall sign striker Josh Coburn on a season-long loan deal from fellow Championship side Middlesbrough. All part of the world of fantasy football
  18. I hope so to. Just looks a little incongruous compared to the rest of the squad. And while everyone deserves a second chance, do leopards change their spots? I feel it's filling a spot, just in case.
  19. Bristol Rovers edit On 26 June 2023, Brown signed for League One club Bristol Rovers on a two-year deal with the option for a further year.[33] His signing drew criticism for the club on account of his ongoing assault case.[34][35] On 7 July 2023, he was fined £5000 having admitted slapping and spitting at a woman outside a nightclub.[36] For once I'm not so sure about this signing. Where does he fit into the current squad? Let alone the above.

  21. Interesting discussion on the Magpie Circle on this topic. I felt that Paul and Stal were both pretty confident they would both be here until at least the January window. Then I guess it would depend on how likely promotion was going to be as to if they resigned .
  22. Macca £700K? Jodi £400K? Make a bid?
  23. Sadly can't see any of last years defenders in there. Makes you wonder....
