Ok folks the weekend is here, who’s got some exciting plans? Whose plans are not so exciting? Let’s talk in general about what you are up to or have been up to this weekend. Tonight Mrs. T is cooking one of her famous curries a lovely chicken Passanda then we will watch the latest edition of The Traitors on BBC 1. Tomorrow it’s the Park Run my son is volunteering to be a bar code scanner this week so it means he’ll have to go early so I won’t get my usual lift and have to drive myself. ☹️ I’m usually inackered afterwards so it’ll be a slow drive back. In the afternoon I’ll be listening to Radio Nottingham on the Notts match at Grimsby hoping Big Jim can rally the team and get a win. Sunday to be confirmed. What are you up to this weekend?

@Chris did you mean to put the prediction league into PoN Insider section? It seems a strange choice.

They are going great in the National League and I think they will be formidable opponents in league 2 next season assuming we are still there.

On Saturday Notts travel to Grimsby, how many links can we find between the two clubs. My offering is Gary Lund one of my favourite all time players. He started his career at Grimsby and played for them between 1983-1986, he arrived at Notts in 1987 via Lincoln and stayed until 1995 making 248 appearances scoring 62 goals. How many more can we find? Over to you.

Well that’s a step in the right direction we did need more competition in that department, its not good news for Tiernan Brooks though is it? He’ll drop back down the pecking order.

We had a fabulous day with our son and family yesterday, we set off early for London on the train and had lunch in a posh restaurant which cost an arm and a leg but was very nice. Then we watched the afternoon matinee performance of the musical “Operation Mincemeat” in the Fortune Theatre which is a lovely quaint small theatre, the show was great there were only five actors but you wouldn’t have known as the scene and costume changes were very slick making it seem like a larger cast. If you get chance to see it I would highly recommend it. Afterwards we walked back through the bright lights of London to St Pancras Station stopping off for a drink before catching our train with reserved seats back to Nottingham. What a fabulous Christmas present from our son it will live in our memory for a long while.
