Faces of PON 23-24: Doncaster Rovers (A)
It’s lovely to see the fans enjoying themselves at the game, I particularly like to see pictures of youngsters enjoying supporting Notts it reminds me of when I was a small boy watching Notts, they are the grown up fans of the future and hopefully they will be supporters for many more years, once you are bitten by the Notts bug there’s no going back.

Macaulay Langstaff: ‘Proud Moment’ to Score First Football League Goals
Now he’s off the mark I expect him to score plenty this season, he’s signed a new contract so he’s settled and obviously happy to be with Notts. We are very lucky to have him, he’s a great player.

Macaulay Langstaff and Jodi Jones lead Notts County to victory against Doncaster
Langstaff is off the mark and now watch him go. I wasn’t at the match but really enjoyed the commentary it sounded like a great game. I was really pleased for the travelling supporters that game certainly made up for the disappointment of the opening game.

One for the older supporters
Yes I saw it on Facebook and it brought back some really great memories so I thought I’d share it here for those of my generation. @Chris your grandad sounds like a true Notts fan, he’d be proud of what you’ve done with this site.

Jones and McGoldrick get needless bookings, dissent and kicking the ball away. I hope they steer clear of trouble now we don’t want a red.

I’m surprised Nemane is on the bench, I wonder what the thinking behind that is?

A lot of you won’t have been born when this team played, one of my favourite Notts teams, what a great season it was.

Julie Henshaw: Notts County Love Passed Down Through Generations
It’s great to read Julie’s journey supporting Notts. I first met her and her family when I had a season ticket in the seat next to her, she is always very vocal and the one thing I remember her shouting and berating the referee when he made a decision she didn’t like she’d shout things like “you’ve come on the bus with them ref”, I also remember when I brought grandson @George L to the match Julie would find some sweets for him in her bag. A lovely lady and a lovely family.

Talking Tactics: Morecambe vs. Notts County
Nice article @TheSkipper, I agree we need to get the ball to Langstaff more in the Doncaster game, we need to get him off the mark with his first in the league then the goals will flow, he’s a confident lad.

Match Discussion: Game 4 - Rovers (A)
I’m hoping this will be a more open game than last night at Morecambe with a few goals scored but hopefully more in their goal. It’d be good if Langstaff could get his first league goal and I’d like to see McGoldrick get one as well he was close last night on a couple of occasions. I’ll let Luke Williams choose the line up I feel he knows better than me.

Match Discussion: Game 3 - The Shrimps (A)
Surely the other way round @liampie, if we had played poorly it would be a point gained but because we played well it’s 2 points dropped in my opinion. Morecambe packed the midfield and Notts found it difficult to break them down or find that incisive pass that would open up an opportunity, on the rare occasion we did find it the finish wasn’t good enough to score. There was a lot of sideways and backwards passing on the halfway line waiting for an opening. However on the positive side a clean sheet is most welcome and it’s still early days the team is still learning how to play against better opposition, I’m not unhappy with the season so far, apart from the first game.

One point gained or two points dropped, what do you think folks?
-
Match Discussion: Game 3 - The Shrimps (A)
A lot better second half, we’ve upped the tempo and are looking more likely to score.

76% possession in the first half.
