  1. Use your trusty ram... ????????
  2. the gaffer has added some excellent content since this was last updated, i thought i would help and try to encourage the readers of my message to give them a read. dont forgot to leave a comment if you have something to say.
  3. yes! i am over the moon that jim has decided to stay for another season. i am really happy with how he performed last season. i do feel he has earned it and still offers us a lot.
  4. we knew this was going to happen but it was a case to who, i would have rather seen him join derby county. hes a good player but did have his inconsistent moments that all players do have. i am hoping sam austin will get the push to be the long term replacement, i dont think we need to go out and sign someone to fill this especially with david mcgoldrick signing.
  5. i think i remember him being linked with us when ah owned the club, i dont know much about him as a football. i dont think wiki says a lot of useful things, but if hes being watched by notts there is a reason. this could also be made up, who knows.
  6. i think he tweeted it to show us what we have with ruben going to his former team. these kind of videos are usually used when players are out of contract, well you see them sharing videos of footage of where they play well a lot of the time in those situations. jodi looks very good in the video tho.
  7. i think hes spoken well in his first interview back at the club, i did not realise he supported notts. i hope he does well and settles in well. i think he will do well instantly connecting with our existing squad. we need a chant just for him and one for + john bostock.
  8. i only saw jodi jones play in the playoff games and i thought he was ace, he looked way better than league two standard. i thought he would become a hot property in the championship and shoot from there, but its unfortunate that an injury derailed his career. hes found a club where he can re build. i think he could become a bigger legend at notts than at coventry. his help in the national league has helped this, he played a massive part in that.
  9. he left us because he was not getting the game time, hes doing the same with boreham wood. he spoke about wanting football league football but seems he cant fight his way into squads. i think chesterfield or someone like that might express interest.
  10. @Fan of Big Tone that would ruin the club, thats basically 90% of the derek pavis stand. ???????? sorry! lol i dont think i would speak to them, i would be to nervous and i think i would not know what to say., i do think they have done an incredible job for us and i hope they just how thankful we are as supporters.
  11. welcome to the pon site, so many new members. i hope you find time to join in with us @Bigrossco1862.
  12. chris and craig short were both centre backs right? i am struggling to think of other brothers that have played for notts.
  13. i think he might play in a similar role to ruben, i am hoping and wishing we can maintain both ruben and nemane but i do feel like both may accept offers elsewhere. as for his age, its not a concern but we need to be remindful about not having enough speed. goodluck to david.
  14. hello, @MagpieLane. welcome to pon.
  15. good luck, jodi. you deserve your call up and if you start or play against england. i will be supporting you! i will naturally be in your other games, hope you and malta manage to get some points in the table too.
  16. boston, alfreton and shrewsbury are all games i hope to make, obviously i will be at both meadow lane games since they are at home. the shrewsbury and alfreton game will be nice trips, never been to boston but heard they have a decent non league ground.
  17. adam senior and zac williams would be superb signings, but i think crewe would want a fair bit of money for williams. he might be more inline to more to wrexham since hes welsh. we can dream though!
  18. the mls can be good to watch but the standard still is not as good as other countires near to them let alone most of the weaker european leagues. i find the saudi league to be worse than chinas, both of which are just sideshow gimmick leagues.
  19. welcome to the pride of nottingham, @Stuart jackson.
  20. i am pleased to see how everything is coming along, we have a good amount of momentum right now and i hope people who read this and have not joined decide to get involved. put aside the feelings of unsure or whatever might put them off. join in and experience togetherness, we can help the club in so many ways by discussing things rationally without the drama.
  21. i keep a watchful eye over everything that is posted gaffer, i take my site support role very seriously and will make sure to pass on any info to the team if needed. otherwise i am happy to take action or mention it up the chain for a mod to take care of. thankfully we dont have many issues.
  22. if we dont loan him out, we need him to be the replacement for sam slocombe, give him faith and he will improve. i really hope he can become our future number one.
  23. 70% of the goals notts conceded last season should be cut out by more focus and awareness to the threat. most teams could not match our class, if they had i would be a bit more inclined to think it needed a rethink. instead i feel we need to do more defensive drills in trying and make sure a certain number of players are are defending, even if it means throwing their bodies in the way of the ball. just need to be mindful of hand balls and fouls leading to pens, i think we should be far better defensively next season.
  24. i had work all week, saturday my cousin got married and my family all got together. i managed to survive being collared by my uncle to try different types of whiskeys, sunday was another family. it was great to see everyone, but it was very long and tiring.
  25. brilliant read @Fan of Big Tone and @Chris, i am glad you got to watch tony, i also appreciate reading about your background and why we know your username as what it is.
