New Signing Jacob Bedeau Thrilled to Be Part of Notts County's Journey
he looks like a great addition to the team, really calm headed and good on the ball. very organised and quick to get back to defending. i thought he worked very well with louis macari and matt platt, its good to see the defence having that level of understanding of each other. its early days but this is one of the most promising parts.

Match Discussion: League Cup - The Shrews (A)
i forgot about this, so i wont be able to attend the game. i hope we make sensible changes but dont weaken our lineup, its important we take the league and fa cup seriously. shrewsbury will be a challenge but we have played them and know what it takes to perform well against them.

Conor Grant. Who is he?
thank you for writing and sharing this @Robbie, also thanks to @ARLukomski for the stats. i am encouraged by the signing, despite feeling a bit disappointed we lost a good attacking option in an area that made a difference when it worked. i think conor grant should shine for us if we give him the time and if he works hard. the fact we have good cover now in midfield, will make players need to work hard.

American Pie
please tell american pie that we miss and wish that hes okay. you will see we have a lot of respect for him and he is greatly missed. always had a lot of time for him and how he enjoyed talking on here. he is in my thoughts.

Kit clash Truro v Dorking
did neither not have a different colour shirt, or did they not bring the other shirt? its very silly.

Stuart Maynard Praises Defensive Display as Notts County Draw with Tranmere
i thought the changes he made helped bring us more into the game, i think defensively we look very calm and that focus needs to continue as we start to push in further into the season. the opening game was a good one despite the goalless draw. i dont think tranmere played that badly, they just struggled with our quality.

Faces of PON 24-25: Tranmere Rovers (A)
great pictures, @Chris. i am glad you felt up to taking the pictures and managed to capture enough to do the faces of pon. keep up the good work!

Notts Alumni: Jeff Astle
he sounds like one incredible player, i have seen pictures of west brom fans holding a huge banner of him. hes a great fit to the pride of nottingham alumni. rest in peace, jeff astle. your memory lives on and i thankful for contributions to the club i love.

New signings coming soon?
i think we are just a little shy of options up top, i think with junior morias leaving on loan and the limits we have. the club could do with finding a good solution to help out with our striker force. david mcgoldrick looked lively when he came on against tranmere but i was confused who was playing as the striker due to him dropping into an attacking midfield position.

Will Swan to Notts?
it could be hype to make the programme more interesting, but there could be something in it. will swan did okay for mansfield, i dont know enough about him to say he would be a good addition to the club.

Tranmere Rovers 0-0 Notts County: Magpies Dominate Possession but Settle for a Point at Prenton Park
i thought it was a very promising performance, tranmere made it difficult to score and i thought both teams gave a good showing. with tranmere being more physical, it was always going to be an issue to break them down. i think the subs helped to give us more chances, i just think within time we need to be more direct on goal. defensively, notts were superb. alex bass looks a brilliant keeper.

Match Discussion: Game 1 - Super White Army (A)
i did not think the game was boring, i thought it was lively but quiet at times. both teams did have chances, i think we looked the better side for most of the game. i wished we had caused more problems for the tranmere keeper, i do not think we really tested him but even though for the opening match you can see the work which has gone into training. at no point did i think we might be undone by lack of concentration or our own mistake. if we keep with this i think it will give more freedom in our attack, as we wont be worried about gambling at times.

Conor Grant Eager to Make an Impact at Notts County After Signing From MK Dons
i hope he fits in, not sure why we would need a fifth centre midfielder, it would be nice if he can play in other positions. he sounds like he's ready for a challenge.

Match Preview: Tranmere Rovers and Notts County Gear Up for Exciting Season Start
i still think we can do well, i wished more fans would believe but i do understand how realistically some might be unsure. i just think theres an unfair amount of negativity. we need to see how we do and how the new players settle in. im excited!

Just Out Of Curiosity
imagine if we were a premier league team, it would be much harder and funnier with the amount of managers they have both good and bad. if you are a top club, win the league the next year that manager could be replaced with another successful manager, or you have an average manager that does well and one with a better reputation that does nothing. i liked martin allen, i thought he was very funny but i think in terms of success it would have to be luke williams.

Help Wanted
if the football league wanted to get a grip on clubs finances and ensure people were advising them, with the mind set that the club could be reported for spending dangerously it would have to be a reliable firm, one disconnected to fans of the same team and not completely under the control of the efl. i am not sure how football could improve in the financial department, everything is geared to spending money.

Mindless vandalism
did the culprits get identified or was this another case of nottinghamshire police claiming they are too busy?
-
John Bostock joins Solihull Moors
i hope the moves works out and that he can help them with their ambitions to get back in the football league. i think he could see out his career with them, hes a good player and the right team should look after him. it would be nice for them to get the best out of him.

Visions of Baldwin..... except this is for Palace
i am not sure how you could slip in that situation, if you are paying attention, it might have been wiser just to pass it out. it looked like he was about to drill the ball down the pitch but defenders can do that.
-
Bennerley Viaduct
why are we always so late to repair things? it seems the uk waits for pot holes to be gaping and dangerous before they try to repair them. either that or the moment the budget are about to be given out again. its still the last minute. keep on top of things and it would not be as rubbish.

NOW HEAR THIS, NOW HEAR THIS.
searching i cant find any connection to macca and leeds, so it most likely someone trying to wind our fans up or some sort of joke. its not believable in the slightest.

"Full of Life" and TV adverts
@Robbie i have nightmares of that advert, the soullessness of the stirring and lack of emotions, plus seeming like a cult that worships a soft drink that is about as health as drinking battery fluid. ????

Old Wheelbarrow Repairman's Almanac
How Do You See This New Season Going For Notts? i think we will be much better and i think much it comes down to form, plus the christmas period and how we handle it. i do think we can be at the top end, but i dont think we will maintain an automatic position throughout the season. i do think we can finish in the autos, with the playoffs being more likely. What Do You Expect From The Team? better defensively, good possession state, plenty of shots on target. hard work and working as a team. And What Will Be Notts Final Position in the League 2 Table? 5-7th, anywhere between those, perhaps higher with things going our way.

Cedwyn Scott on being No. 9
i think the club sees cedwyn scott as the most suitable replacement, hes relatable and not a million miles from what macca offered. jatta is a totally different player, its always been between those two. i am pleased scott got it, i would say the same if jatta had.
