  1. I firmly believe that Wrexham is now in pole position to win the league title. However, with their recent squad reinforcements, including a solid goalkeeper at this level, quality midfield additions, and players to support Mullin in scoring goals, they should have enough firepower to keep their momentum going and secure the championship. Undoubtedly, it won't be an easy feat, and it's crucial for Notts to maintain their winning streak. Wrexham has demonstrated their ambition and determination to win by investing in new players. A team's success often hinges on the strength of their squad, and Wrexham has made significant strides in this regard. The addition of a goalkeeper with a proven track record at a higher level and the signing of quality midfielders is bound to enhance their overall gameplay. Mullin is a proven goal scorer, and the new additions will offer the necessary support to help him achieve even greater success. Despite Wrexham's current position, Notts cannot be ruled out just yet. They must continue to push themselves and win every game if they hope to have a chance of catching up with Wrexham. This will undoubtedly add more pressure to Wrexham's players, but they have already shown their mettle and determination, and I have faith that they can rise to the challenge.
  2. @Chris Brooks might play Saturday night. I think it's important for football players to give their all for the entire game to succeed. Even if they start slow, they need to keep pushing to create chances to win. I believe they can win if they put in full effort. Meadow Lane stadium is awesome with over 12,000 fans in attendance. The crowd can inspire the players and make the stadium feel like a higher-level venue. Ruben and Palmer are great players who can change the game for Notts. They can control the game's flow and create chances for the team. I would love to see them lead the charge. Overall, I'm confident that Notts can win if they work hard and dedicate themselves to the game. The crowd's support and players like Ruben and Palmer can make a big difference in securing a win.
  3. He appears to be a promising prospect, but he requires a significant amount of additional experience. To enhance his development, Notts ought to endeavour to secure a position for him with a team that operates at a higher level next season. My main concern is that we often loan out players to teams that are below our standard, which makes it hard for them to gain the necessary experience. It's unrealistic to expect a player to be capable of meeting the requirements of our first team after being sent out on loan. I don't intend to sound pessimistic; rather, I believe that we need to establish a superior pathway into the first team.
  4. The road to victory seems to be paved for Wrexham from this point onwards. It appears highly unlikely that they will falter and allow Notts to overtake them in the race for the title. While I do anticipate Notts finishing the season just a point or two behind, I doubt we will be able to catch up to Wrexham. Of course, if fate decides to play its cards, and we end up with an equal number of points, it could be a fortunate turn of events. However, luck of that magnitude seldom favours Notts. Therefore, it seems that our best chance of securing a spot in the playoffs lies ahead. It's imperative that we start preparing for this eventuality from the moment the club acknowledges that the title is out of our grasp. We need to be focused, dedicated, and ready to navigate through the playoffs with all our might. Only then can we hope to achieve our desired outcome.
  5. Throughout the season, Adam Chicksen has been an outstanding contributor to our team. However, in the last few games, it's clear that he hasn't quite had his usual energy and spark. Given the sheer number of minutes he has played this season, it's understandable that fatigue may be setting in. Despite this recent dip in form, it's important to recognise the impact he has had on the team as a whole. As a driving force within the squad, Adam has shown remarkable improvement in his play compared to previous seasons, and has undoubtedly become a key player. His consistent efforts and dedication have not gone unnoticed by fans and teammates alike. Even if he may be experiencing some exhaustion in the current moment, it's clear that his contributions have been invaluable to our success.
  6. This is not a significant concern, as he will likely be fit to play again in the near future. Reports suggest that it is a minor issue, and there is even talk that he may be ready to return as early as tomorrow's game. I believe that the decision to potentially bring him back into the squad has been carefully considered, and if he does play, it could provide a boost in terms of additional goals and overall team performance. However, it is important to remember that injuries can be unpredictable, and it will ultimately be up to the medical professionals and coaching staff to make the final determination on his readiness to play.
  7. How on earth did Ian Burchnall pull that one-off?
  8. The future looks bright for Tiernan Brooks at Notts County if he remains focused, takes advantage of his opportunities, and remains ready to be called upon. As a young player, he has already shown potential and promise, and with the right support and guidance, he could become a good player for the team.
  9. The match against Dorking tomorrow is make or break for Notts County's title challenge. A win keeps their hopes alive, but anything less than that makes it difficult. Every point is critical, and the pressure is mounting as the season progresses. But with determination and focus, the team can still achieve their goal. Dropping even two points means relying on Wrexham to draw or lose, making it tougher to maintain a fight for the first place.
  10. The Reedtz have consistently demonstrated a genuine commitment to the betterment of the club. They have shown a willingness to spend money to improve the team's performance on the field. They have also shown a willingness to improve the fan experience. Unlike some owners who make false promises or engage in headline-grabbing actions to serve their own egos, these owners prioritise the club's long-term success. They understand that building a strong foundation takes time, effort, and resources, and they are willing to make the necessary investments to achieve sustainable success. Their efforts have not gone unnoticed by me; I appreciate the owners' transparent approach and dedication to improving the club. The owners have earned the trust and respect of the fans by delivering on their promises. They understand what it takes to build a successful team.
  11. Getting a promotion is important to our players, as it gives them the opportunity to improve their skills and compete at a higher level. While I expect Kyle Cameron to stay with our team for another season, I think that other squad members like Ruben Rodrigues and Aaron Nemane might want to join a team higher up the football pyramid. Therefore, it's essential that we focus our attention on achieving promotion to satisfy the ambitions of our talented athletes.
  12. Sorry, I have amended the title to reflect on Notts.
  13. I wish him all the best at Gateshead. I have no doubt that he will continue to impress with his skills and make a valuable contribution to his new team whilst out on loan. At the same time, it's hard not to feel that Francis is good enough to be playing regularly for Notts County. He has shown real potential in the short time he has played this season, and I think he can have a big impact for us in the future. In the end, I believe that the decision to loan him out was made with his best interests in mind. I hope that this move will give him the opportunity to come back to Notts County and develop his game. Good luck, Ed!
  14. Notts have found Bromley to be a challenging opponent at Meadow Lane, as they are skilled in countering teams that prefer a possession-based, attacking style of play. They are likely to employ a slow pace while pushing forward during set pieces, potentially putting pressure on Notts' defence. Despite this, Notts has the talent to return to their winning form, but the outcome may depend on which team desires the victory more.I expect a draw to be the likely outcome.
  15. Hello, @JoeNcfc, it's nice to be welcoming you to our site.
  16. Slocombe Cameron Nemane Palmer Langstaff A mixture of speed, technical ability and sheer class.
  17. As the 2022-23 National League season nears its end, I am interested in hearing the thoughts of PON members on which player they believe has stood out and been the most consistent throughout the season. It's important to consider the impact that the player has had on the team as a whole. A standout player who consistently performs at an exceptional level can inspire and motivate their teammates, leading to an overall improvement in team performance. In the same way, a strong player on their team can help their team keep up a steady level of play. They can also help their team when they are not playing well. Who would you choose and why?
  18. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham, do join in when you get the time @SSTurtle28.
  19. Both the assistant referee on the left and the referee failed to spot the obvious penalty on Langstaff. I completely concur that it was a missed call, but I chose not to intervene with any possible accusations of bribery towards the referee. My belief is that the officials displayed poor performance and most likely succumbed to the pressure of the cameras.
  20. Currently, I'm enjoying playing football again and spending more time reading. With my full-time job, I make an effort to find ways to relax and unwind that can help me forget about how hectic everything can be. It's been great to get back into football and enjoy the benefits of physical exercise and camaraderie with my teammates. Also, reading has been a great way to escape and dive into new worlds and perspectives. What's even better now is that going back to Notts on weekends is much easier. Since I've been working full-time, I've been able to save up enough to buy a car, which has made the journey from my place to my Nottingham a lot more convenient. Being able to visit my family and friends more often has been a big boost to my well-being, and it's helped me stay connected to my roots. I'm grateful for the balance that these activities bring to my life.
  21. It's good to have you back, Chris. Keep going mate.
  22. I believe the primary factor behind our success under current ownership is their dedication to hard work and their commitment to sticking to long-term plans instead of seeking quick gains. Unlike other owners who may be distracted by social media or responding to every fan query online, they have more time to focus on the daily operations of the club. This allows them to make decisions that are in the best interest of the team. Additionally, their ability to develop strong working relationships with our managers is another key aspect that contributes to our success.
  23. I am concerned that the club will always prioritize talent from higher-ranked clubs over our own. Notts seems to lack the confidence to provide our players with the necessary league experience.
  24. Achieving this goal is a challenging task, whether it is done by a single person or a committee. Nonetheless, I hope it can be accomplished.
  25. Happy birthday to someone who deserves all the happiness in the world, especially during this difficult times. May you find peace and comfort in the memories of your loved one and inthe love of those around you. @super_ram.
