Do we still actually have a Supporters Trust and if we do, who is actually still a part of it? Plus, anybody who is appointed from the subsequent parties must, in my opinion, go home and away and have a genuine idea of what we want and need as a fanbase. My concern is the people who will represent the first Supporters Committee will include members who don't speak for the wider fanbase. There is a lot of division within the fanbase as it is and the last thing we need is members of supporter groups only speaking for themselves and their own particular interests, rather than the wider interests of the entire fanbase.

This is the current top 7's remaining set of fixtures, excluding tonight's fixtues (February 25th). We must improve our performance levels if we are to reach the magical 83 points. 9 wins or 8 wins and 2 draws. We need to begin running into space with the ball again, pressing more intensely like we did between MK (A) and Gillingham (A) and having a quicker intensity with the ball along with more urgency. I am concerned about our record in big games. This season we've taken 7 points from a possible 24 against fellow top 7 teams. Walsall (2 losses), Donny (draw), Wimbledon (won), Bradford (won), Vale (2 losses) and Crewe (lost). This isn't just a current problem, but it's always been an issue. We just can't perform in the big games. The returns of Didzy and Jodi will be important, as will the progress of talented, yet still developing duo Charlie Whitaker and Will Jarvis. Mai Traore needs a run of games as well. I'm just not sure we have it in us. We have a more "that'll do" mentality rather than a ruthless mentality. Are we genuinely better than 4 other teams in that screenshot? I feel like other fans have more faith in us than we do in ourselves and vice versa. I look at performances like Cheltenham (A), Accrington (A) and Gillingham (A) and think we have what it takes. I then look at recent games against Carlisle, Vale, Colchester and Tranmere and think we don't have it in us. There's them performances, coupled with our results against the rest of the top 7, which makes avoiding the play-offs a must.

The 3 points was probably the only good thing to come out of that game, other than the performances of Bedeau and Bass. Fans had the right to be annoyed by our opening 45 minutes. The lack of urgency continued from Tuesday's game. A lack of running into open space, quick tempo combined with an inability to take a good first touch (from any player) and complete 3 successful passes, made for one of the worst opening 45's of the season. Tranmere should have been 3-0 up. I remember away at Port Vale, when I shouted for the team to press, someone stood 2 rows in front of me responding "There's no pass on that's why." Funny that because that should be more incentive to press, forcing a turnover. Vale then just went straight through our midfield. The same happened yesterday, when Tranmere had no pass on, we didn't press and then suddenly they were in our half. We were marginally better after the break, but still lacking. Funny that the first time a player ran with the ball into open space we scored from it. Bringing Traore on freed up Chaz a bit more. Would start Jatta, Traore and Whits against Fleetwood. Johnson had a better game than he did on Tuesday and it's good to see him wanting to bring the ball out from the back at every opportunity. Performances need to improve. Results are papering over them at the moment. Maynard has said before that performances are important. Fair play to him for calling out how bad it was. I look at us not doing the fist pumps at the end and there I see the players realising how poor it was and that they know the mentality that's needed. However, I then watch us during games and we've got zero urgency, no ruthlessness. It's more of a "that'll do" mindset and when you're going for promotion, you can't have that as a mindset. There has to be more of a will to win, dominate and be ruthless.

Yes because Jodi Jones (who is actually our best player) hasn't left. It might allow us to be better in the press and quicker in transitions rather than stalling them. It will also allow Palmer and Abbott more time on the ball and a certain player not getting in their way
