Kevin Nolan says he is "absolutely delighted" to have steered Notts County to a playoff place in League Two and wants the Magpies to win the next two games and "finish off in style".

Notts hammered Yeovil Town 4-1 on Saturday which, combined with other results, has guaranteed them a place in the top seven.

With two games left, the Magpies still have a chance to claim an automatic promotion place, which Nolan is gunning for.

“One of the staff made me aware when I walked back in after the game and I am absolutely delighted,” he told the Nottingham Post.

“Everybody would have snapped your hand off at the start of the season if we would have been offered a play-off place.

“But I am delighted for the lads because they’ve been brilliant all season long and I want them to finish off in style.

“I want to win the next two games because you get your just rewards when you do that.”
