Zonal marking for Eastleigh's goal? The ball passed Slocombe too easily?

If you learn something from every game, there shall come a point in time, when you should never lose... Jimmy Sirrel

It looks to be like it's a combination of zonal and man-marking. The player covering near post, I think it's Sam, is flat-footed and waiting for the ball to come to him rather than attacking it.  Think Slocombe doesn't see it through the mass of bodies until it's too late.

Good play for our first goal; Vincent, Mitchell and Sam. All Sam for that second though.

Elisha Sam's goals were both attacking minded plays, he's probably stronger at getting into those positions than running in with the ball coming from a pass/cross from height. I do think he will improve with regular game time, so hopefully we can figure out how to get the best out of him.

We look like a decent team with our passing, well above this level.
