I got shivers when I first watched this, I didn't get the chance to attend the celebration day but I had hoped to see it. (unable to see it on magpie player) It's a great video, well produced. The club really did very well with this!

Just like Jimmy, my mother says 'Aston Vanilla' hehe.

Brought back some very fond memories too, especially the early 90's which was the time when my gandfather started taking me to games with my older brother. It wasn't very often he didn't mention the club and as a child there was no other club for me. I used to always ask him if we would get promoted into the premiership and he wouldn't be negative but remained realistic. (I don't think he enjoyed what that was becoming) Nothing prevented him from sharing the special moments we had during that time and that's one of the reasons why I try to make sure I can do the same for my children. I hope we get back to where we belong!

Very well done to the club!

Joe nice to read your reflections mate, it's a great achievement that the club is 150 years old. Thanks for sharing the video :)

Love the Notts County History video.Looking at the old footage made me think how much has changed. When I first went to matches.. there was hardly any football on tv,just the F.A Cup final ,a few international games and the occassional European cup games. There are more games on tv in a week now than there used to be in a year .Of course there was only one tv channel then and no local radio stations. The long baggy shorts have gone now and boots are more like trainers now. There were no shirt sponsors.Matches kicked of at 3.00 pm on a Saturday(no Sky tv) There was hardly any crowd trouble. So much has changed. One thing stays the same though-referees still can,t do anything right!!!
