As the away game is approaching, the excitement and anticipation certainly build up! I agree that an early Notts goal can ease some of the pressure. However, we should prepare for a good fight from Doncaster Rovers. Let's hope our lads come out on top.

Anticipating an effortless match is unlikely, but I am confident that Notts will capitalize on the situation and build on the progress from previous games. Things are progressing, though I came across some fans on Facebook claiming our style of play is dull. Seriously? I thought our main focus was on making strides forward. This being our inaugural season, I hope the team performs well against Doncaster Rovers to silence those critics.

As soon as we manage to stabilize the squad and string together several matches with a consistent line-up, I anticipate greater consistency. While I don't perceive it as the core problem, I do regard it as a crucial aspect of the solution. It's essential to bear in mind that cultivating a resilient mindset and a cohesive unit of eleven players, all in good form, is instrumental in achieving victory. I view the Doncaster match as an excellent opportunity for us to excel on the road. While I anticipate them putting up a fight, I have faith in our quality.

I'm here at the game and the ground seems nice, although I can't tell if it's just because of where I'm sat but the pitch looks a little short, so I wonder if that will affect how we play.

I think today will be a more open game than Morecambe I think Donny will want to make it a game of football not them watching us have all of the ball. The pitch looks very slick and looks like the ball will move smoothly which will benefit us.

Good following from notts aswell with around 2000 fans making their way down.

Defence still needs a bit of work but I'm 100 sure Luke Williams will rectify whatever the issue has been.

I’m surprised Nemane is on the bench, I wonder what the thinking behind that is?

We've got this!

It's like being at home with all our constantly signing, it's for Notts to use this as fuel to perform well.

decent start by notts, mcgoldrick shot wide but doncaster look quite poor on the ball. we need to use the wider areas more.

Jones and McGoldrick get needless bookings, dissent and kicking the ball away. I hope they steer clear of trouble now we don’t want a red.

The bookings are getting quite rediculous this season... mostly unneeded.

GET IN! LANGSTAFF.

It was a very good goal, the free kick should have perhaps been floated in first but the space opened up. Langstaff took it well, you knew where it was heading. Doncaster fans are as lively as I am in a bad mood. Very poor support on their behalf, but our fans are amazing. Get in there!

GET IN LANGSTAFF AGAIN! 2-0

Excellent play for Langstaff's second, thankfully Luke Williams picks the team and not us, or the those silly fans who wanted him dropping. We are looking like a real quality team now, we could easily get another or two. We are all over them and they look nervous.

The referee is terrible though, very biased towards Doncaster. They've gone in hard on us, nothing given and no card. They fall over, free kick and a warning.

NOTTS ARE BACK 3-0 JONES!! GET IN!

The game usually always opens up in the second, it's a strong showing and our lads are chasing everything. There's a feeling this could end up 5-0. Macaulay Langstaff acknowledging our end after his second with a real big grin says it all for me.

Chicksen put the ball away very tidy, deemed offside. It looked fine to me, I need to see the highlights. 3-0, but should be 4 for us I think.

Great win. County are finding their feet in League 2. Disappointing to concede a late goal but the 3 points are all that matter.

Patience is crucial; Notts won't always overpower teams. We may have to accept defeat or settle for a draw in some matches. However, in my opinion, Notts maintained control during today's game, even when it wasn't particularly attractive. Doncaster didn't leave much space to exploit, so Langstaff's first goal was significant. It allowed the game to open up and gave Notts the confidence to push forward. The second and third goals were excellent, and Jones put the ball away superbly. I didn't see the disallowed goal because too many fans were standing in front of me, blocking my view. Nonetheless, it was a great result, and Luke Williams must be pleased.

After a slow start took control, game was there for the taking and we took it. Still not firing on all cylinders but better.
