That's a good appointment, I'd say. I think having Stuart Maynard linked so early is a positive sign. It shows that we recruited someone we wanted and didn't have to settle for other candidates. I hope he stays at the club for several seasons; losing managers is becoming as bad as when the club sacked them!

Great choice, I don't mind if he's coming from a semi-pro level. However, he has a lot at stake as he's giving up his full-time job to manage us. That's a risky commitment, especially if fans don't support him for long enough. Nevertheless, Stuart Maynard should be okay. Many fans will want him to do well and will support him as any loyal fan should.
