I really hope we can get a result against Wimbledon, I’m not sure yet whether to go, I hate the negativity, toxic atmosphere when things aren’t going well.

Good luck to the lads.

i think we need to make sure that jake reeves is marked out of the game, hes the player i felt pulled all their strings at their ground and he is one of those players who can make others around him go that extra bit further. i am nervous, i dont see where our next win will come and i still remain nervous for stuart maynard as it seems unlikely people will stop finding fault with him.

it would be something to see us at our best, well prepared and looking brighter but with the season being competitive i do not see it.

wimbledon fans must be feeling confident, i just hope we give ourselves some credit.

Come on, lads, we can choose to see how things might improve and how Notts can go about winning matches, even if it might end in disappointment. AFC Wimbledon needs to be stifled and pressed. If we can regain the ball and be bolder with our creativity, we have every opportunity to get the result we need. We have many options in attack, it’s in defence where we might fall short, but we should do better at home than we did at their ground. The game was close for the most part, we just need to avoid silly mistakes.

Wimbledon have kept two clean sheets in the last two games so they are pretty solid defensively, we will need to break them down, they will defend well and try to attack on the break so we need to be wary of that and crucially defend set pieces better. I’d happily settle for a drab 0-0 most of the game and get a winner on 90+3.

I believe we should return to plan A for this match and go on the all out attack mode. We know we can hurt any team in this league with our attack. I would go to a back 5 with three in midfield with Didzy supporting Langstaff up front.

Our defence is going to be important as always to get a positive result, and it's time to stop trying to play out of defense all the time when under pressure, but play safe and kick the ball into touch if necessary, or boot the ball upfield.

Hoping for a positive result. A  3:1 win would be great if Notts could achieve it

I don’t believe either team will keep a clean sheet in the match, but I do think there will only be three goals scored and it will depend on who copes with the stress better. Notts needs to concentrate and avoid conceding simple goals, like penalties and opportunities from bad marking. AFC Wimbledon are a decent team at this level, but I’d still prefer our squad. I hope the players can concentrate on the game and overcome any obstacles that come their way.

Notts will need to hope that we can involve Jodi Jones more, either with his assists or scoring a goal. Macaulay Langstaff will also be crucial when given any opportunities. A good team performance all around would be great. AFC Wimbledon will be aiming to take the points home and having defeated us earlier in the season, I’m sure they’ll come well prepared.

Will they give the go-ahead to Great Uncle Bulgaria? Tomsk could be a problem if given the opportunity. 😆 AFC Wimbledon will be aiming to pull off the achievable against us.

After the losses to Sutton United, we need to put in more effort to finish games and ensure we’re not losing points. I’m certain the fans present just want to see that fighting spirit, along with better performances. I’m not sure where the goals will land, but it should be a good, open match and one that Notts should be able to compete in properly.

At times, I wish Notts would opt to play the ball long, as we might then see more movement to get the ball. That’s something we need to fix quickly. I also hope we can have Sam Slocombe back in goal and it would be nice to see Adam Chicksen if they’re both in shape. Position Jodi Jones on the right and let Chicksen be the left wing-back.

I think this is a good time to play Wimbledon. They aren't scoring many goals. They failed to beat a poor Grimsby team in their last game at home. Their away isn't the best. They did beat us at their place but they aren't at that level in their recent games. I'm quietly confident that we'll be celebrating a much needed win.

i hope after the 90s minute and final whistle that we can feel happy knowing notts gave a good account of themselves. if afc wimbledon play well and win, so be it but i just wish to see more positive signs from our games. we are long overdue a solid performance and i am hoping that will be tomorrow. just hearing the kop feeling happier and the players giving their best. coyp!

Will the match be fast-paced? Many say that AFC Wimbledon likes to counter-attack and wouldn’t mind if we controlled the ball. This is quite different from Notts’ style. It might lead to a chaotic and fun game. Let’s increase our concentration, regain possession quickly, and create solid opportunities. Hopefully, Notts will emerge victorious.

A little bit of magic can make a big difference, so I’m hoping Jodi Jones can change the game for us. Home teams should make their ground a tough place for visitors. We should support our players instead of criticising them. Positive support has often helped turn things around. Let’s hope tomorrow is our day!

I hope the genuine long time Notts fans get behind Notts and the players manage to get all the Negative Nellies cheering instead of  the idiotic booing.

Wimbledon had won 1 in 12 away from home. They strolled to victory at ML today. We are the worst side in the division at the moment and there are no signs of it getting any better. I have no idea what's going on, I can't see what SM is trying to achieve.

It’s a bit worrying that Stuart Maynard says we aren’t equipped to deal with balls in the box! We can’t go out and sign anyone so if we aren’t equipped we’re stuck with conceding goals.

I wonder if he’s thinking just go and attack and hope to score more than the opposition but the goals have dried up too. So what is the answer? :huh2:

If I were Stuart, I would just go back to plan A which was total football, like we had under Luke

Dissapointing result again today, we didn't get much luck up front and unfortunately we conceded due to our defensive frailties once again.

Notts just need to keep fighting for our 11 remaining games and finish as high up the league as they can.

But at the moment it is hard to see where the next point is coming from. Every game needs to be treated as a cup final.

What is certain is a rebuild is needed in the close season, because we need a goalkeeper and defence that can boss their area.

We have seen that Notts are being bossed around by most teams we've met in this league,  and we just need to be better at doing it than them

Criticism of Stuart Maynard is very unfair because he has inherited a big problem left by the previous coach, and unfortunately, he cannot bring in the players he needs until the season end.

The Notts players need all our support more than ever, to help  get them to the season's end and finish the season on an up. Criticism is not going to help at all.
