Good morning a new week dawns. It’s a grey start but mild.

I might go for a little run down the canal towpath today since there wasn’t a park run on Saturday, I need to shed extra pounds I put on during our holiday.

We also need to get someone round to measure for a carpet in our loft bedroom, hopefully we can get a new carpet before Christmas when we have our family staying here.

What’s happening in your world? Let’s keep the weekly chat alive.

Well it's another dreary Wednesday Morning & Afternoon again.

The UK has a high pressure system over it but no sun just full cloud, & there seems no end to it.

Spain is being hit by some terrible weather too, with the City of Valencia baring the wrath of the weathers fury this time.

I think that has much to do with the high pressure over the UK pushing weather systems to the south.

On a personal level, not much planned today, had the food shopping delivered yesterday. Both of us feeling under the weather so it's a resting day today

We went to Valencia earlier in the year it’s a beautiful city, it was raining very heavily then, I do feel really sorry for the people affected, the news clips look horrendous.

Good morning.

Another overcast day, & very dull, but it's a little milder this morning.

I never thought I'd ever do it, but for the last ten weeks haven't had the TV on at all.

And probably 10 weeks before that just watched Dvds & old VHS tapes on the TV or cast an Amazon film from my phone to the TV

So over 5 months without watching any live TV especially the news, which always seems to be so depressing.

To be honest I've been wondering about getting rid of the TV licence because we just don't watch live TV anymore.

I'd never ever thought I wouldn't miss TV but I just don't. I get all of my news from the phone nowadays.

We are truly in the age of the smartphone & tablet.

Mrs. T’s a happy bunny, she saw a special offer whilst shopping online at Tesco, a 70cl bottle of Baileys for £8 with a Tesco Card, so she ordered it with our groceries.

When the shopping arrived they didn’t have any 70cl bottles so they substituted it with not one but TWO 1 litre bottles for the same price £8, not sure how they worked that out but we aren’t complaining. We asked the driver if it was right and he said it must be because he had another delivery with the same two bottles substituted. Happy days. :happybanana:

Good morning it’s matchday, safe travels to those travelling to the match, I’ll be listening to Radio Nottingham whilst doing my jigsaw but first it’s also park run day and I’m off to Long Eaton in a short while with my son Chris who’s also running today so he’ll be at the finish to cheer me on, he runs a tad faster than me.

Have a lovely day whatever you are doing.

COME ON YOU PIES!

Another dreary start to the day.

Looking forward to the match this afternoon. I think this game will give us a lot of insight into Notts's promotion credentials this season..

Doncaster away will be the toughest game of the season so far. I will be listening to the game on the Radio hoping that Notts can get a positive result today.

The prospect of 3000 Notts fans cheering the team on today is awesome. A PL side would be proud to have that number at an away game.

In my opinion a draw would be a great result. A clean sheet would be even better.

Good afternoon, we had a walk up to our local war memorial for the 11am remembrance service, there was a really good turnout of townsfolk. All the roads were closed to traffic while the scouts, army cadets and boys brigade band march from the church to the memorial.

Our grandson Fred was marching with his scout group at another local town but we couldn’t get the car out to go and watch him, it’s nice to see the youngsters being involved.
