i thought jevani brown played very well and did some good defensive work, he played the role we expect from david mcgoldrick. its a shame he was not able to get some of his chances off as shots on goal but doncaster rovers did make it tight at the back.

In my opinion there were four  players stood out for Notts,

Matty Platt. Solid defensive performance once again.

Alassana Jatta. Seems to get better with each match. Never stopped running, & led the live well, & scored the Notts goal.

George Abbott. What a signing this guy was. Another sterling performance. He's going to have a good footballing future..

Alex Bass. Another commanding performance in goal. No fault with the Doncaster goal. Best goalie in the league.

I'm going to give it to Alex Bass for another solid performance especially in that second half when Notts were under lots of pressure.

Jevani Brown was our main attacking threat, but he was involved in our defensive side and there were times when he just needed releasing with the ball a bit quicker. I think he played very well, but we were somewhat limited at times with our movement with credit to Doncaster for being more organised.

Alex Bass does deserve a shoutout for his efforts, as he kept them at bay and was unlucky to concede the goal they did manage to score. My vote does go to Brown though.

George Abbott played incredibly well and looked a cut above most of the players on the pitch. His performance was similar to what we would have expected from Ryan Yates, but with far more importance and as a much more gifted footballer.

Honestly, I thought Jacob Bedeau was our best player. However, some fans seem to be very critical of him. I heard someone compare him to Kyle Cameron, but as a better defender.

I don't think comments like that reflect his true ability. His performance was superb, and he deserves recognition for it.

Jatta gets my vote. We should focus more on involving him because he does a lot of good work off the ball and turns chances into something from nothing.

Get voting, everyone!

I thought George Abbot played a crucial role yesterday, and the performance he put in deserves my vote.

I believe the way everyone played made this quite challenging. I can understand how tough it is to name just eight players when all eleven contributed equally well. For me, it’s a choice between Jevani Brown, Alex Bass, and George Abbott. I chose Abbott; he was a real pleasure to watch in the first half and kept going in the second.

The Poll has now closed.

Thank you to all who voted.

It was a great all round performance by the team & it was difficult to select a shortlist.

I am pleased to announce the  Pride of Nottingham Man of the Match for his outstanding performance against Doncaster is George Abbott.

great to see george abbott get the vote and earn his second man of the match here on pon! tho i do think many of the named players could have easily been voted for, i do think abbott amount stands out.

i wished someone had voted for sam austin as all players would have had a vote that were named. :)

I thought George Abbott played excellently in the first half and did well in the second too. Naturally, we started to tire as a team, but he kept his performance strong throughout.

He definitely deserves to be voted Man of the Match.
