Bradford managed to stop a 6-game winless run by beating Swindon (and they are poor) 1-0 last weekend so they aren’t exactly in great form either. In their 10 matches they’ve played away they’ve only won twice. They don’t score many goals and equally they don't concede that many either, Andy Cook is their biggest threat he’s scored 42% of their goals so if you stop him chances are you’ll be ok. Just looking from the outside you’d expect this to be a poor game, with few goals. Let’s hope that’s wrong!

Here’s a small list of things I would love to see:

1) We don’t concede a goal from Bass playing the ball out into the middle of the pitch to a central midfielder being pressed.

2) The inverted wingbacks provide a goal/assist.

3) We play with a good tempo and intensity.

4) We create more chances/have more shots than the opposition.

I’ll take 3 out of 4 of those things… Because in theory that should produce a decent result for us!

It’s a weird scenario to be in, as we haven’t really played that well of late that so right now I want to see a performance that reflects what this team is trying to achieve. However, we desperately need a win too. Luke Williams last game was on New Years Day, when he left he had won 13 matches in League 2. We are nearly at that point again now and Stuart Maynard is still on 12 wins. We’ve got 4 matches before we hit NYD, he needs to get past that.

There isn't a better time to play us and now is about as good a time to play Bradford. Notts are bound to improve. I mean it can't get much worse. I think we'll bounce back tomorrow.

I’m hopeful of a win tomorrow as long as we don’t concede another sloppy goal as I can see heads dropping.

The one thing I’d like to see:

Dan Crowley banned from our third of the pitch and find he’s playing just to the side of Jatta.

Nothing but a win will do today.

Conditions won't be ideal with rain and wind forecast.

This would be my side to face Salford..

Bass, Macari, Platt, Bedeau, Tsaroulla, Palmer, Abbott, Austin, McGoldrick, Crowley Jatta.

Subs.

Scott, Ness, Slocombe, Hinchy, Gordon, M Cisse, Brown.

A draw won't be good enough. To reduce the current criticism of Stuart and the team it has to be three points today.

We need a win today, I hope the fans get behind the lads from start to the final whistle. Let’s hope they show us how they can play and put last weeks performance behind them. If we get a win today it’ll give us confidence for the Christmas period where there’s potential to pick up lots of points in a short period which can change our season completely.

COME ON YOU PIES!

Your Notts team to face Bradford today.

Good move by Stuart to put the same team out who failed miserably last week.

The team need to deliver today.

Halftime.

Great half for Notts.

It was an even game until the goal. But then, game changing moments - Notts produced three of them in four minutes and that is difference between the two sides." - Stallard

This is OK. It's also lovely to see Baldwin back. He should visit more often.

Full Time.

Three goals, Three points, Clean sheet.

"The fans wanted a performance from the players and they got one. We are back to being clinical. They have got to go and build on this and get more points." - Stallard
