All the team deserve a mention today. They all played so well.

My top four Notts players who stood out for me were

Matty Platt, Alassana Jatta, George Abbott, David McGoldrick

My standout today is once again David McGoldrick, who scored two but could have had a hat full of goals today.

It's not just the goals he's scoring, it's his work rate which is just phenomenal at the moment. Is he really 37 years old?

All of them played well today. Any of the back 3 could have got it, went for McDonald who was a squad player at best until recently, now looks like he's been there all along. Solid.

I didn’t go to the game so it’s a bit hard to pick a MoM but I guess because he scored two goal McGoldrick deserves it, although I understand George Abbott scored a stunner.

Matty Palmer for me, Abbott a close 2nd, Bass 3rd

Surprised with all the votes for McGoldrick who, on 2 occasions, his sloppiness could have cost us conceding 2 goals

I thought the whole squad played well, not just as a team but individually. Alex Bass made everything look comfortable and, although Accrington didn't test him much or pressure us, I think the defence and him made it easier to attack as a platform. Matt Palmer and Nick Tsaroulla deserve praise, but my vote goes to David McGoldrick.

From what I have seen and heard (commentary) it would have to be David McGoldrick.

Yet it did sound like an excellent team performance, where everyone played their part in securing the three points and clean sheet. It didn't sound like Accrington were all that much of a threat.

No player can be absolutely perfect. Players do make mistakes, however, McGoldrick scored two goals & could have had a few more.

Without David being in the right position at the right time, the match could have turned out very different.

His performance was described via Google👇

Some called McGoldrick's performance "exceptional" and "the McGoldrick show"

Sorry @Robbie, I totally stand by my assessment. The mistakes were bad but appreciate his offensive work was good

I wasn't at the game, but I listened to BBC Radio Nottingham's coverage and have since seen the extended highlights, which sways my vote towards David McGoldrick.

If you have any problems or concerns, feel free to send me a private message (PM). Always happy to help!
