Notts narrowly lost their match at home to Peterborough earlier in the season. It was  a match of two halves. Notts taking a 3:0 lead by half time but conceding 4 goals in the second losing 3:4.

The game today will be difficult. Peterborough are one of the top teams in the division, currently in 2nd place & pushing for promotion, having won 11 of their 15 games so far.

Notts have improved so well this term & will be hopeful of putting in a good performance against their opponents today, who are very strong & skillful side.

A draw today would be a fantastic result for the girls if they could achieve it. Just getting into a position to compete with these top teams this season has been a big step forward.

The match kicks off

I'm using the Posh twitter account as the Notts account isn't updating.

Notts are still holding Posh as it is still goaless after 28 mins.

Update.

Still 0:0 after 40 mins

A fantastic performance to hold Peterborough 0-0 at the half way stage. It has been a very good defensive performance because Peterborough as expected have dominated.

It will be a big half for the Notts ladies. They will surely tire as the match goes on, but the performance so far shows how far the ladies have come.

A very credible performance by the Ladies ends in defeat by 3 late goals from Peterborough.

For 73 minutes they held off Peterborough so they can take credit for that.
