I think the Notts model of buying players cheaply, developing them, then selling them for a profit is a much better way of doing things.

most of our signings are players who just need to be played in the right environment, but we are good at developing players. we gave kyle wootton the platform to succeed and in comparison we capitalised on how much macaulay langstaff was on fire with gateshead. signed him, then figured out how to change our play slightly to maximise the amount of chances he would get.
