    Sutton Coldfield are two points behind Notts in 8th place having played a game more than Notts 

    Notts & Sutton are two well matched teams in mid table. This match, if we take into account both their results so far, will be  close & very competitive.

    In their home match against Sutton back in September, Notts won by a single goal in a close encounter.

    I don't see things any different on Sunday. I think that this match has a draw written all over it. It would be the first draw of the season for Notts.

    The Notts X account is not updating so I have no team news.

    The match began at 2pm today. 

    Both sides have had a few chances however it is goalless at half time.

    Notts has fallen a little since I last remember checking their league position; it's still positive, what with the club growing and how last season compares. It's a good win, 3 vital points, but it is a bit disappointing, not in a negative way, but in how different it could have been if Notts had managed to maintain their form.

    This season Notts are in 7th place with 8 wins from 15 matches & 24 points.

    This was the end of season table for 23/24

    Notts finished in 10th place with just 4 wins, 4 draws & 14 defeats.

    This season just like last, there are effectively 3 leagues in one. The top four teams are very good, then you have the mid table five including Notts.

    Then you have the bottom three. Notts have moved up from the bottom three to competing with those in the middle.

    If Notts can finish in fifth place this season it would be a good achievement & a stepping stone for next season.
