Good morning, it’s a damp dismal start to the day and cold at 4 degrees, when does it start getting warmer? It’s a blooming long winter.

Only back from holiday a few days and I’m already down by a few pounds in weight which is encouraging, I’m going to try stay off alcohol for a while, it’s 5 weeks until our cruise I’m hoping to lose a good amount of weight by then so I can put it all back again. 😂

Have a good day everyone, let us know what’s happening in your world.

Morning all. Overcast and miserable here. After a quiet weekend work resumed next door.About 8.30 a noise like something being pulled from our party wall, followed by several taps, then the bloody drill. It was only a short burst and until a few minutes ago (9.55)relative silence.but drilling again now.ah well ,I'm going out soon so hopefully the noise will be over by the time I return.

@super_ram the trouble you have with your neighbours reminded me of the Stones song “Get Off My Cloud”.

“It's three a.m., there's too much noise
Don't you people ever wanna go to bed?
Just because you feel so good
Do you have to drive me out of my head?”

:rollonfloorlaughing:

I have had a busy few days, but a mixture of Saturday and Sunday has knocked me for six. I went to see Wheatus and Bowling for Soup on Saturday with Cheeky and Ava. It's part of the frustration with dealing with my disabilities, as they are taking over despite my weight loss. Try to be healthy; I have to be careful about just how much I push myself. I am trying to catch up with PON.

I really enjoyed the gig; many will know that we have seen BFS many times, but we are big fans of them.

We are back at the ice arena on Thursday, as they come to Nottingham.

@Chris It sounds like for every enjoyable activity you managed to have you suffer for it later, it must be so frustrating for you. 😪

Morning all (oh it’s afternoon), afternoon all.

Did anyone watch the Exeter v Forest match last night, it went on forever, 2-2 after extra time in spite of Exeter having a man sent off and Jammy Forest won on penalties. 😡

We’ve just got back from a long walk (well long for us) I think we’ve increased our stamina at York where we walked lots, it’s all good for keeping fit and hopefully losing weight.

Enjoy the rest of the day.

Morning all (just).

It seems a bit brighter today I haven’t been out yet but hopefully the brightness will bring a bit of warmth.

I’ve been watching some window people putting new windows in a house opposite, it’s quite fascinating how they do it, they’ve done a good job too by the looks of it. My favourite pastime is watching other people work.

A very dull, overcast day here in Aspley.I got the usual wake up call at 8.24 this morning although I was already awake.Drill noise for a few minutes ,then hammering. but mainly bearable after that.I'm sure it;s done deliberately to annoy me .Silly pillock.

Still awaiting official announcement of new Rams manager/coach.I hope John Eustace has some answers. How does my team play away from home so well against a very good in form team(Our disallowed goal should have stood), then play at home like strangers who have just discovered a football?Answers on a postcard please asap or apply DCFC c/o Pride Park ,Derby.

I wrote this yesterday but forgot to submit, was distracted by something(it's an age thing)

Good morning and Happy Valentines Day to those who are celebrating, special thoughts for those whose loved ones are no longer around.

We stopped buying cards, presents etc., years ago but it doesn’t mean we don’t love each other any more, it’s Valentine’s Day every day here, we don’t need a special day. In March we’ll have been married 50 years and I wouldn’t change a thing.

So what are all you lovey dovey people doing to celebrate today?
