Every club has parts of its history like this, a lot of Forest fans go on about us living in the past, but there's no reason why Notts fans wouldn't want to celebrate such a win. They would be doing it themselves if, on the other hand, the rivalry were friendly and not bitter, pathetic statements. For those who were in attendance, would have gotten one of the biggest highs from beating our neighbours.

Truth is, whilst they say it's embarrassing, or whatever. It's the reason some fans fall in love with football: a fundamental flaw in their reasoning.

That’s blooming rich coming from supporters who are always banging on about how they won 2 European Cups god knows how many years ago.

Whenever a reds fan mentions it to me I make out I didn’t know, “Really? When was that? I’ve never heard that mentioned before.” :biggrin:
